Jamie Mitchell13 said:Hey, how are you holding up? Are you nervous? You've only got two days left, and I'm heading in tomorrow to get it all taken care of. Don't worry at all, everything will turn out fine...

The hardest part is having to be in Washington, D.C. for seven days 😢 but I suppose I'll manage... let me know tomorrow how you feel about the results...
ruggedcrane15 said:It took me quite a while to gather everything... $2333 I'm looking to get my rhinoplasty done as soon as possible. My thought was to pay less now for a slightly shorter nose, then deal with any refinements down the road... Regarding health issues, I have a deviated septum on one side and suffer from allergic rhinitis. I’ve already seen an ENT specialist, but they didn't offer any guidance regarding surgery. Maybe I should head to Washington, D.C. for a consultation... Is it possible to undergo surgery at a hospital where I only pay for the aesthetic portion without addressing the underlying medical issues?

If you’re dealing with a deviation, you might want to look into hospital options. If you decide to go private, don't expect anything less than $11,000... $0.00 No matter what they try to do to you...
ruggedcrane15 said:Hi everyone.

I'm new here and could really use some advice. I'm looking into cosmetic surgery, but I can't decide if I should go through a private surgeon or a hospital. To be honest, my nose is pretty bad... it looks something like this link (left picture), though the tip is rounder, which makes it look even worse. My goal is to shave down that raised part so it doesn't have that bulbous shape at the end. I assume this is called a rhinoplasty? I'm just not sure what the ballpark cost would be. Is it actually cheaper to do it at a hospital? I'm not looking for perfection, just something a bit more balanced...😢

If you have underlying health issues or breathing problems, a hospital might cover it under insurance. But honestly, a private practice is usually better quality. Prices start from $3667 and go up from there...
Jamie Mitchell13 said:As for me, they finally removed those awful tampons. I honestly thought it would be painful, but it wasn't at all. Now I can finally breathe through my nose... I'll check the shape of the cast this weekend. From what I can see so far, the nose looks okay, but I won't know for sure until the cast comes off. You're going in this Friday, right? Don't worry. I guess I'm just sensitive to pain, but it’s really nothing to fear... I just hope there aren't any complications after the surgery, like those lumps or anything, and that my nose doesn't grow too much... God forbid.

I asked the doctor about those lumps. He mentioned they can happen, but they usually just drain because it's fluid or something similar—he said it's quite rare. Your nose is going to look great...
Jamie Mitchell13 said:They gave me some acetaminophen. My head is pounding... I'm not swollen much, just a little around the eyes. I have to go get it removed tomorrow, I can't wait any longer. Don't worry, everything will be fine. I'm just waiting to see how it looks...

Good luck tomorrow. Let me know how it goes...🙂
Jamie Mitchell13 said:Everything just hurts. Is it normal for a headache to be this intense? I can't wait until Monday. I honestly don't know if I can handle this pain... It should feel better once they remove those tampons... once you go through with it. That doctor is actually quite good.

Didn't he give you anything for the pain? I think you'll feel fine once the tampons are out, at least that's what I've heard from others... I have my surgery this Friday and I'm pretty nervous 😢 but it'll be better once they're removed... are you swelling up a lot?
Jamie Mitchell13 said:I'm just doing the rhinoplasty. Honestly, I can barely wait. It hasn't been easy... I really hope this all works out in the end. The days are dragging, and I'm pretty anxious. I'm just hoping everything turns out fine. Now I've started getting dark circles under my eyes and my head constantly aches. Time is moving so slowly. But if I end up with a beautiful nose, it'll be worth it. I just want this period to be over already. Who are you seeing for yours?

I'm going to see a specialist in D.C. I was torn between them and another surgeon... Bruising is totally normal. I think the second or third day is usually the worst, but it’ll all be worth it once you see the results.👍
Jamie Mitchell13 said:Hey ladies. I had my surgery today. It wasn't exactly easy... but I can't wait to be done with this. I should be able to get everything removed by Thursday...

What exactly did he do to your nose? Was it just cosmetic, or a septoplasty too? My doctor told me he’s doing all of that plus the pyramid reconstruction, and I’m starting to panic a little... I hope your recovery is quick and that the final result looks amazing... 🙂
Laura Roberts61 said:is it covered by insurance during wartime😁?

How long does it take before you can get back to your normal life? As in, how long until the swelling goes down enough to head back to work, college, or school...

edit: found the answer:

I believe most people use insurance cards. I have my procedure scheduled for May 16th with the specialist... the surgery costs about $1,600...
Susan Smith13 said:Good grief... that seems like a lot. Isn't a rhinoplasty usually around $7,000 to $11,000...

I called a few clinics and 911... $0.00 That’s the lowest price I've seen, but I can't tell if it's just a cosmetic fix... maybe that makes it cheaper... 🙂
velvetsailor26 said:Does anyone know how much this surgery actually costs??

The cost ranges from $11,000 up to $18,000...$0.00
Thanks to the lady who replied to my question. I'm just wondering if everyone ends up with those little bumps after surgery, or...🤷
Has anyone actually seen Dr. Bastajic???
