Usain Bolt is truly something else. He just runs, shatters records, and grabs medals—all while looking like he’s having the time of his life. Massive respect to the man! My favorite moment had to be him and Asafa at the 100m medal ceremony; they were posing for photos, and Asafa looked so wiped out that Bolt couldn't stop laughing. They were both exhausted, yet Bolt was just there cracking up. Go Team USA!!😁
and huge props to Blanka Vlašić for taking home the gold.

Jeremy Johnson30 said:The new rule kicks in starting in 2010—for now, we’re still stuck with the old way where a second false start means you're out. Honestly? I think the current system is silly, and this new update is even worse—we're either going to see fewer world records or just a massive wave of disqualifications.

Everyone is obsessing over Bolt vs Gay, but like you mentioned, Asif handled the qualifiers beautifully, and I wouldn't count Bailey out either—so, in my book, it's more of a four-way race. My heart really goes out to young Lemaître, though; he's the fastest white sprinter out there and arguably the only one who could shake up the dominance of the darker-skinned runners anytime soon, which is a shame because it could have happened already.

I'm totally with you. He cruised through the qualifiers with a 9.95 like it was nothing. Bailey is solid, sure, but I think the real showdown is going to be between Bolt, Gay, and Powell.🙂

NBC is covering everything. The opening of the championships was actually pretty gripping—just wait until tomorrow...
I’m calling it now: Bolt takes the win, though it's going to be a hell of a battle between him, Gay, and Asafa.🙂
