Sebastian Vettel has already immersed himself in spying on Mercedes, having conducted an exhaustive, granular inspection and scan of both cars. 🍿

Is it not obvious that Kimi Räikkönen is actively undermining Ferrari? He intentionally fell behind by a full tenth of a second. 🍿
What truly sets Ferrari's design apart from anything we have witnessed previously is the internal configuration of the S-duct channels within the nose; they are engineered to intersect, ensuring the airflow follows a much smoother contour through the duct, which ultimately allows it to exit onto the upper surface of the monocoque with significantly higher velocity.

And there you have it—they have already pinpointed Ferrari's secret weapon: the S-duct system. 🤦

It is quite fascinating to note that drivers have been granted considerably more leeway when defending their positions;

The FIA has scrapped last year's "Verstappen rule" regarding driver conduct in braking zones, a move clearly intended to provide racers with greater freedom during on-track duels.

Mercedes and Red Bull had to alter F1 suspension designs for 2017...
Basically, both teams were pulling a fast one last season and nobody said a word. 🙄
Instead of disqualifying them from last year's standings, they just give them this little polite nudge.
"Hey guys, cheating isn't really cool. Let's play fair, at least until we catch you red-handed again." 😍

The FIA 🙄

It’s common knowledge! 🍿

Because of Ferrari, they were forced to modify their suspension designs.
The FIA allowed Mercedes to run secret tests to their heart's content; one can only wonder what Bernie Ecclestone received in return from Toto Wolff. Red Bull noticed that Mercedes was mixing fuel and oil.
Furthermore, who could forget when Adrian Newey was busy finding loopholes for Red Bull during the Monaco Grand Prix?

Charlie claims they are investigating the oil and fuel mixture;

Whiting Said: “We are certainly monitoring it. We did quite a lot of work on it in Barcelona.

“We are going to inspect all the oil systems here and we are going to randomly check oil consumption to make sure that it is not being used as fuel.”

I appreciate the quick response. I suppose I might be waiting even longer than anticipated, given that most of them don't consolidate until January 9th, 2017.

Rather than maintaining the status quo—which was a seamless automated process via email confirmation—they seem intent on overcomplicating things for no apparent reason. 🤦

If I may ask one more thing: when signing via the digital pension portal, is that Lana application still required as a browser extension to facilitate the signature and submission, or is Java sufficient on its own? 🤔

Hannah Evans3 said:They don't send confirmations via email anymore. You have to log in to the Medicare portal and download the confirmation there yourself.

So, we are back to dealing with Java issues and all the other nonsense that comes with downloading these documents. Am I correct in assuming that Chrome won't even work because it lacks NPAPI support, meaning I'm forced to use Internet Explorer just to get this done?

This is how I am currently attempting to retrieve the confirmation via the Medicare portal:

Log into the application — select business users — go to view registrations and cancellations — enter the Social Security number of the individual being deregistered — and then the system should automatically generate the confirmation as a PDF.

Is this indeed the proper procedure, or have I fundamentally misunderstood the process?
How to sign up for Medicare in Business, Accounting & Taxes ·
Tomorrow, I intend to deregister an individual from both their pension and health insurance records. My plan is to process this through the online pension portal using the standard electronic filing form. Does this procedure necessitate a separate submission via the Medicare portal, or will I receive an automated confirmation email from the health insurance provider once the deregistration is finalized, much like my previous experiences? 🤔

But this particular card has already moved past its awkward teenage years, wouldn't you agree? 😁
Before we know it, they'll have rolled out an entirely new series anyway. 😵

In that case, why not just sell your GTX 1060 6 and pick up an AMD RX480 8 GB instead? 🍿

Robert Rodriguez2 said:You clearly haven't looked at the latest benchmarks for the RX 480, have you? Or perhaps you've ignored everything regarding their drivers and accompanying software suite?

I have seen the discussions. However, until the RX 480 can actually clock in at 2100 MHz like this MSI GeForce RTX 4060, what exactly are we debating?

Furthermore, I keep reading reports of a total mess regarding software stability; apparently, WattMan isn't compatible with Afterburner, and the moment Afterburner makes a single adjustment, most users are greeted by a black screen and a dead system.

If their drivers were actually functional, would they really need to be rushing out a hotfix every five days?

I expect Nvidia to drop a surprise of their own, though I certainly hope it arrives as a finished masterpiece.

Gary Anderson38 said:Regardless, I remain convinced that we are looking at a driver issue, given how sporadic this behavior is. Most of these headaches tend to surface or vanish entirely with every single driver update.

It doesn't strike me that the card itself is defective. Certain games run perfectly fine, such as Doom at the moment. The Witcher 3 was running without a single glitch until these most recent drivers were installed.

I simply have neither the desire nor the patience to waste any more time on this. I will be switching back to AMD cards during my next upgrade—which, quite clearly, is arriving much sooner than I had anticipated—unless they manage to fix these drivers in the interim.

I am also playing Fallout 4, and I haven't encountered a single issue with my MSI GeForce RTX 4060.

Everything runs at maximum settings, with the frame rate staying at a very comfortable and stable 60 fps.

I am thoroughly satisfied with the GTX 1060; if I were buying one again right now, I would stick with the GTX 1060 6GB rather than turning to AMD and those half-baked products of theirs.

My new GeForce GTX 1060 gaming x 6 g is running flawlessly. Why would anyone ever go back to those cheap, overheating AMD cards? I’ve officially decided that sticking with Team Green was the smartest move I could have made.

Greetings, everyone.

After much deliberation and weighing the merits of the AMD RX 480 8 GB against the GTX 1060 6 GB, I have finally decided to join the green camp. 🍿

The specific card I have ordered is:
MSI Nvidia GTX 1060 gaming x

https://www.msi.com/Graphics-card/Ge...#hero-overview

I can only hope that I haven't made a tactical error; after all, the current state of DirectX 12 titles is somewhat underwhelming, and one cannot ignore that the GTX 1060 maintains an incredibly efficient power draw of roughly 120 W.

One ought to examine actual game benchmarks rather than relying on synthetic software suites like Futuremark. If I were making this decision myself, I would opt for the 1060; over the last few years, I have developed a distinct preference for Nvidia, especially considering that performance levels are practically identical—particularly when one is targeting 1080p resolution. 🙂

However, Nvidia lacks SLI mode support—which the Radeon RX 480 8GB does possess—and the latter offers an additional 2 GB of VRAM.

While I might also lean toward Nvidia under different circumstances, it is worth noting that newer titles built on the DirectX 12 platform perform significantly better on the Radeon RX 480 8GB.

It appears Nvidia has made a serious miscalculation here, as their hardware seems to be lagging behind AMD when it comes to leveraging new DirectX 12 technology. 🤦

To whom it may concern;

I am planning to head out and purchase a new graphics card in the coming days;

my current setup consists of the following:

Motherboard: Asrock Z77 Extreme 4
CPU: Intel Core i7-3770K Processor
GPU: Gigabyte R9 280 OC 3 GB
PSU: Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold 1000W
RAM: 16 GB (1600 MHz)
SSD: Samsung SSD 840
HDD: WD Black 1500 GB
HDD: WD Green 500 GB
Case: Cooler Master HAF 912

I can only hope that my CPU will not act as a bottleneck for the new GPU.
My intention is to pick up either a GTX 1060 6GB or a Radeon RX 480 8GB (the GTX features a faster processor, lower power consumption, and superior performance in DirectX 11 titles, whereas the Radeon RX 480 is more budget-friendly, offers an additional 2GB of VRAM, supports CrossFire unlike its competitor, and provides better support for modern DirectX 12 titles such as Doom via Vulkan). 🤔

It is truly difficult to fathom why Nvidia would neglect SLI support and allow their hardware to struggle so significantly in DirectX 12 environments. 🤦

Now, having weighed all the advantages and disadvantages, a colleague of mine insists that the Radeon RX 480 8GB is actually the superior choice? 🤔

Here is a link demonstrating how the Radeon RX 480 8GB outperforms the GTX 1060 6GB with a 1000-point lead in 3DMark benchmarks:

One must ask oneself: just how objective can this testing really be?

Carol Price4 said:Come on, walk me through this a bit more...

An American carrier bills an Austrian client 10,000 euros—that part is simple enough.

Now, let's say those Austrian costs—tolls, fuel, all that stuff—add up to 8,000 euros. You’re saying the bills are made out to the American carrier, but who actually settles them???

The Austrian client wires over 2,000 euros, which is fine, but that leaves 8,000 euros sitting open on the IRA.

If the Austrian handles the bills over in Austria, you just book them in the URU to clear those expenses—and at the same time, you clear the IRA in kind.

At the end of the day, 10,000 goes into the ZP because that's what the IRA shows, regardless of how you choose to settle it.

Could someone please clarify for me:

From what I have gathered, an American trucking company does not concern itself with having the liquid funds available for fuel or tolls; instead, those costs are handled directly by the Austrian firm for whom they provide transport services. The difference in funds is then transferred to the American carrier's foreign currency account. However, the invoices for these specific expenses are made out to the American carrier. Am I required to record these invoices through the URU as you explained and report them via the VAT and VAT returns? If so, under which specific line item in the VAT return should this be done, or can I simply record these costs as an expense and receipt in kind using the general ledger?
Furthermore, how should I record the incoming wire transfer and its subsequent conversion into USD?

Thank you in advance!!

Could someone please provide some clarity on this specific scenario?
An American trucking company provides transport services in Austria. They issue their invoices on a monthly basis. For example,
the invoice total is $10,000.00, and along with that outbound invoice, they attach various expenses incurred while operating in Austria—such as tolls, tunnel fees, fuel, etc.—which amount to, say, $8,000.00.
The final payment received into the foreign currency account is $2,000.00. However, the Austrian client refuses to accept a formal set-off or compensation arrangement. How should this business transaction be recorded within the sales tax books and the ZP?
Should the VAT and ZP forms reflect the full $10,000.00 since that is the total value of the outbound invoice? Furthermore, what gets entered into the KPI ledger? Since the Austrian client won't agree to a formal offset, can we handle the compensation unilaterally by issuing an invoice against the expenses incurred in Austria? Effectively, the client only pays the difference: $10,000.00 minus $8,000.00 equals $2,000.00. Note that all fuel and miscellaneous costs are billed directly to the American trucking company, which then seeks a VAT refund through an agency in Austria.

It seems you have all forgotten about me, and frankly, I am in quite a bind here.🙂

An American trucking company provides transport services into Austria. We issue an invoice that includes a transfer of tax liability. Once in Austria, the local Austrian driver covers the fuel costs and tolls; the difference based on the issued invoice is then paid directly into our business checking account. In my cash receipts and disbursements journal, I record amounts like $10,000.00 for both receipts and expenditures.
Do I need to record $5,000.00 through the journal as
in-kind receipts and disbursements, while recording the other $5,000.00 as a direct deposit into the bank account? I would appreciate some guidance.

placidlynx92 said:Well, I just got word that the glitch was fixed, so I went back in and successfully submitted the 🎉 form. Honestly, I’m just annoyed at how many hours of my life I wasted on this nonsense. 🙂

The same occurred on my end today. I find myself wondering, however: is this a widespread issue affecting specific forms that cannot be submitted over the weekend, or am I simply looking at an isolated incident—perhaps a localized server outage at the IRS? 🤔

The IRS is perpetually adrift in a sea of incompetence, seemingly incapable of maintaining any semblance of stability within their digital infrastructure. One can never truly know what to expect when logging on; it is a constant cycle of systemic glitches and inexplicable technical failures. Furthermore, one must contend with the fact that Google Chrome has finally abandoned support for Java, adding yet another layer of frustration to an already broken process. Is it too much to ask for a functional interface? 🍿
