If you have an American cable package, they started airing weekdays at 6:00 PM Northern Exposure. I caught episode 7 yesterday.
Finally, a timeslot this show actually deserves 🙏

Look, if they're airing the final season two episodes at a time and they kicked things off two Sundays ago... that's 8 days of airtime times 2 episodes, which equals 16. Since this last season has 24 episodes total, there are only 8 left. That means we should be wrapping up this week.

Since W&G is supposed to wrap up next week—assuming they stick to those double episodes—maybe we’ll finally get some movement on this. Otherwise, who knows? They might suddenly decide to dump three or four episodes of Sex & City on us instead, and then we won't see the new series start until after the 2nd. 🙄

Honestly, nothing bothers me. Thank God I have high-speed internet so I can just watch whatever I feel like, whenever I want.
But what really gets under my skin is the total lack of respect they show their viewers... this was a huge wake-up call for me. I’m officially done watching anything on the new 😉

Good grief, Austin Sanders9... how could you think that would work in 2020 or 2021? Back then, networks were stuck broadcasting a mountain of mediocre local trash—exceptions aside. I mean, seriously, why on earth would they take a world-class show like Wall or some top-tier series like Married with Children and dump them into an afternoon rerun slot just to make room for some low-rated junk like Life in the North that barely pulled any viewers after the first two episodes? 🙄

FOX actually has a consistent schedule—you know exactly when an episode is airing, and they don't pull the kind of amateur stunts you see over at ABC. They broadcast on Thursdays at 9:50 PM, running the new episode first followed by the rerun... so if you're watching, you don't have to waste your time checking every single week to see when it's actually starting. You know it starts RIGHT at 9:50 PM, not fifteen minutes early or late, and they aren't going to suddenly shift the time slot in the middle of the night or early in the morning. That's because they're professionals who actually respect their audience.

FOX set the bar incredibly high—constant reruns, just endless reruns, reruns on loop, movies where the sequels are aired out of order, random shows popping up between films, one episode from season one followed by something from season five, etc., etc. 😁

Man, I don't know about people—it's crazy how much less criticism you'll find regarding FOX and how they treat their audience compared to the new station. Sure, FOX might air the same old sitcom for the millionth time, but they keep it in the same slot, and if anyone actually watches it, they know they can count on seeing it every single day at 5:30 PM without fail.

The whole point of TV is that when a show starts, it stays in a consistent slot so the people watching during that window can actually follow it, rather than having to hunt through websites and newspapers every day just to find the schedule. FOX actually HAS a standard... it's just that the new station refuses to copy them. Honestly, they're easily the worst station in the US. 😉

I have to say, what drives me crazy about the new station is how they change the time slots every single day... :grrrr:! I totally agree there. But unfortunately, everyone pulls a show if the ratings aren't there.

Give me one example where FOX or a major US network pulled a daily series or moved it to a dead zone after airing ONLY TWO episodes.

I should have seen this coming... now that we're five or six episodes in, I bet they’ll just move this to some elite 3:00 AM time slot where they bury everything else, too. What a joke. As long as shows like *The Truth*, *Dads*, *Walls*, and *ER* get those prime spots, they couldn't care less. Honestly, screw this entire pathetic excuse for domestic production. This is hands down the WORST American television network out there. They have absolutely zero respect for the audience.
