My period is always running late on me, but this time it’s being extra dramatic—I'm at 45 days now, which is wild since my usual cycle tops out at 30. I actually found out from my last blood test that I'm running pretty low on iron. Do you think that could be what's throwing everything out of whack?
So, I had an abortion about two months ago. After all the bleeding settled down from the procedure, my cycle came back once, totally normal. But now, I’ve been waiting on this second one for almost 20 days. Usually, my period is pretty irregular anyway, so a late start isn't exactly a cause for panic in my book. Just to be absolutely sure, I already took a pregnancy test and it was negative, so I know I'm not pregnant again. I guess I'm just wondering if anyone else has dealt with their cycle acting this wonky after an abortion?
So, what you're actually telling me is that after all this hassle, I should just go ahead and get my blood and urine tested all over again?
So, I just got my bloodwork back and apparently my white cell count is sitting at 11.9, which is a bit high since the standard range here is usually somewhere between 3.4 and 9.6. On top of that, my urinalysis is looking pretty messy—it shows sediment in the field, about 10-15 leukocytes, a ton of squamous epithelium, and plenty of bacteria.
I’ve never actually dealt with any bacterial issues before, so I'm wondering if this could just be from catching a chill and having cold urine, or maybe it's some weird side effect of early pregnancy?
Has anyone here actually dealt with this clinic before?
