Is tap water safe to drink?

I usually head out to the spring near Kašin, but man, it is always packed. I’ve literally stood there waiting for like 2 or 3 hours just to get some. I was chatting with the folks out there filling up jugs, and they mentioned there are other springs scattered along the ridge and even closer to that area near Philly. Does anyone know how I can find them? Seriously, any direction helps! thanks
