If you want an image from a site like that, you’ll have to save it to your computer first and then upload it to a dedicated host (like Imgur or something similar).

Basically, in Google, you right-click the image—>Save image as...—>save it locally—>head over to a file uploader like Imgur—>hit browse—>select the file you just saved—>upload—>once it's done and shows you the code, grab that direct link ending in .gif or .png...—>then come back here to the forum, click the icon, paste the link into the window that pops up (right-click—>paste), and hit OK.

That’s all there is to it. 😉

I don't really care about those tacky, flashing graphics—I was just puzzled by why I couldn't transfer them at first, and then why they suddenly vanished... Computing is a strange world, isn't it? 🤣Sometimes I feel like Faith in New York City (which is basically like Alice in Wonderland 😉)

How do I actually get an animation from the web into a post?
I found some cute little animations online, but I can't seem to get them to work using my usual tricks—copy-paste just isn't cutting it. Someone suggested I should "save as" to my computer first, but whenever I try that, the animation just freezes and turns into a static image...😕

Not sure there's a better way to phrase this...😳
