Paul Morgan said:The tick bit me about ten days ago—or rather, that's when I finally managed to pull it out... in the meantime, I was over in Chicago and didn't get much sleep, so when I got back, I was just exhausted and waiting in lines... things seemed fine at school too, but then on my way home, I got caught in a downpour and decided to go lie down for a bit. Well, once I woke up, my nose started running, my throat felt scratchy, and all that good stuff. I basically slept the whole day away yesterday, and now I'm taking some DayQuil because it feels like a cold has set in. I guess I'm wondering if that'll actually help or if it might make things worse? What do you guys think... should I probably head to a doctor??
Honestly, you should probably just see a doctor... at least they can tell you what's actually going on. I mean, the incubation period for tick-borne stuff is usually around 10 to 12 days, so the timing isn't great.
