Got it yesterday, finally!
The thing is, my cycle isn't exactly predictable—it usually fluctuates between 28 and 33 days. But this time, it blew past that 33-day mark and didn't show up until day 41. I started low-key panicking because we had unprotected sex... so hopefully everything is fine now. Still, I'm a bit confused about those pregnancy "rules"—even though my period actually started, should I still bother taking a test just to be safe?

I’m jumping into this thread because it’s basically the same situation, and I didn't want to clutter things up by starting a whole new one...
So, my period is late. I’m planning to take a test in the next few days, but here’s the catch—I don't actually have a regular OB-GYN. I know, I know, it’s incredibly stupid and irresponsible of me, especially since I was fully intending to get that sorted out this month. If the test comes back positive, my next step will most likely be an abortion. Since that needs to happen within a pretty tight window, I’m wondering if there's any way to get an urgent pregnancy test done at a hospital? I'm worried that if I try to go through my insurance/public health system, the wait for an appointment will be way too long. I hope you guys see where I'm going with this (even though I feel like I just made my question way more complicated than it needs to be). Any help would be appreciated... thanks.
