Period talk: Questions and advice

Hey ladies,
I’ve got a question that might sound a bit stupid and is probably just a theoretical "what if" scenario.
So, I'm on Clomid therapy. During my follicle scan on day 12 of my cycle, the doctor saw three follicles ready to go, basically popping every 48 hours or so. Doc says everything looks perfect and we're good to go. My husband and I have been staying busy—very busy—trying to make it happen. But then, on day 33, my period shows up.
Here’s my thought: Is it actually possible to have a period even if one egg was fertilized while the other two weren't? Like, could I somehow be pregnant even though I'm bleeding?
I haven't seen anyone talk about this online, so it might be a dumb question, but I'm curious.
