Is anyone actually online?
Correction of an inaccurate statement: my last period actually occurred at the end of the first month.
I have spent an exhaustive amount of time scouring the internet for information regarding menstrual irregularities, but much of the available data is so overwhelming that it serves only to induce anxiety rather than clarity. I have a specific inquiry. I was on Yasmin for fourteen months and stopped seven months ago; however, since December, my cycle has been entirely unpredictable. My period was due at the beginning of December, but it didn't arrive until late February, and I haven't seen anything since. I am struggling to determine if my body is simply recalibrating its rhythm or if these pills have caused lasting physiological disruption. When the delay first occurred, I spiraled into a panic—taking five different pregnancy tests and visiting my OB-GYN. Naturally, I wasn't pregnant, but the doctor prescribed more medication, which I am hesitant to take because, once again, we are dealing with hormones. While my flow has remained normal thus far, the fact that my cycles are now skipping is concerning. Furthermore, I never struggled with PMS, but lately, the mood swings have been maddening; I find myself oscillating between tears and laughter out of sheer frustration. It is a total mess. Has anyone else experienced something similar?
