The old guy will be there but he won't be quite that perverted; you'll get a blue-haired, ugly version of Yamcha, plus Tien, Chiaotzu, no Vegeta, and yes, Bulma...

Honestly, people, if you actually want an entertaining movie with characters that aren't a total disaster, just watch that old classicDragonball : The Magic Begins (Xin qi Long Zhu shen Long de Fu Shou)

To me, everything is perfectly logical and tightly woven together. They always throw in a retrospective, right? Like, when Trunks arrives, you finally learn everything about the androids and how they came to be. And Frieza is a totally logical progression from the Saiyan Saga since you find out Vegeta was actually his soldier/underling...
Besides, the backstories of how they gained that much power aren't even necessary. That would just be useless filler episodes that would bore the audience to death... You have plenty of info on him: he's a super powerful alien conquering planets, building armies from the locals, and trying to rule the entire universe. He wants those Dragonballs because he's terrified someone stronger will show up... It's a perfectly logical story...

Hmm, honestly, I can't stand that part. It feels so ridiculous having this endless stream of transformations. Even back in the Buu saga, that Super Saiyan 3 thing—you know, the one where they get that absurdly long hair and lose their eyebrows? It was way too much. And don't even get me started on those fusion dances... it's just silly. I mean, it doesn't drive me crazy right now, but still, I absolutely love Dragon Ball Z.🙂
As for GT, I thought it was incredibly stupid how Goku turned back into a kid again. Plus, those space adventures felt way too childish, like some knock-off version of Pokémon or something... 🤷
Oh, and I also noticed they totally changed the art style! For example, Trunks looks completely underwhelming in GT, and honestly, everyone looks like a cheap plastic action figure with that weird, tacky shine on them...

Look, everything was clearly laid out in the link from my previous post, so why does nobody ever actually read anything around here? Seriously, why?!

Dragon Ball Kai is an anime series that is an HD remaster and recut of Dragon Ball Z done for its 20th Anniversary.

They chopped out all those filler episodes to bring it down to about 100 episodes, bumped the aspect ratio up to 16:9, and even fixed the dialogue so it actually stays true to the manga...

What a disaster... just a completely warped retelling, zero action, and a plot that goes absolutely nowhere... plus the acting? Don't even get me started. That guy playing Yamcha was just painful to watch—so cringey. And those hair strands? Honestly, how do you even call that styling? It looked pathetic.
