Period talk: Questions and advice
in Women's Health ·
So...
I was on the pill for six days (started on the first day of my cycle). It just wasn't agreeing with me—lots of headaches and nausea—so my doctor advised me to stop taking them altogether.
About six days after I stopped, I had some spotting.
It wasn't anything major; it only lasted two days.
I’m trying to figure out when I can actually expect my next period?
Should I be counting 28 days from my last "real" period, or does the clock reset from this recent spotting?
(My cycle is usually pretty consistent at 28 days)
I hope you all understand why I'm asking.😁
I realize hormones can throw everything out of whack, but I'm getting a little anxious because nothing has happened yet. If I count from my last actual period, I'm on day 33... though if I go by the spotting, it's only been 22 days since then.
And if I keep stressing out like this, it probably won't show up at all! :P
