Period talk: Questions and advice

I have a question, and I would really appreciate some advice from anyone who might be able to help; even though everyone I’ve talked to so far has already tried to comfort me, I still find myself feeling a bit unsettled... 😢
Here is the situation: my period usually arrives quite regularly every month, sometimes arriving a couple of days early or a couple of days late, but it stays within a predictable window. I have been sexually active for the last seven months with my boyfriend—we haven't switched partners during this time—but we aren't using any form of protection. To be direct, he has never actually finished inside me, and up until now, we haven't had any issues, though I am fully aware that there is always an underlying risk involved.
My period was expected on the 9th of this month. However, the day before that, we had somewhat rougher intercourse, and afterward, I experienced some pain while urinating. Once I finished, I noticed a small spot of bright red blood—it was very light, just a little bit visible after wiping.
Since I assumed my period was finally starting, I just put on a pad and went to sleep.🙂
The thing is, my period hasn't arrived at all. As I mentioned, it sometimes runs a day or two late, which isn't usually a big deal, but I'm starting to panic because of that light spotting I saw; I've never experienced anything like this before.
I have already spoken with my friends and my mom about this, though she is at an age where she deals with things like menopause and has dealt with cysts in the past, so her experience might be different.
My friends told me they have had similar experiences after more intense physical intimacy or when their cycles were slightly disrupted.
Regarding the typical pre-menstrual symptoms and pains—I was experiencing them for the last two or three days, except for today, but the actual bleeding still hasn't started.
Please, if you could offer any insight, I would be so grateful. Do I have reason to worry about pregnancy, or perhaps something like a cyst?
