Yeah, I’m actually heading there next week, so I’ll find out then.
Honestly, I’ve been getting pretty worried lately—I was feeling those same sharp pains in my ovaries again today. 😢
Since I haven't been sexually active yet, they can only perform an ultrasound, right?
Hey everyone!
I'm 17 years old and I started my period about six years ago.
But honestly, my cycle still hasn't found any kind of rhythm. Sometimes it shows up right on the 28-day mark, other times it's more like 35 days, and there have even been times when I went three whole months without seeing it at all!
Over the last 7 or 8 months, things have taken a turn for the worse. When my period actually does arrive, the cramps are absolutely brutal. It usually lasts a week, and I’ll deal with intense abdominal pain for at least five of those days—it's just overwhelming. And don't even get me started on the PMS. My nerves are shot; I feel incredibly irritable and touchy, and I've literally been having tiny emotional breakdowns.😢 😢
In the last 8 months, I've only had my period three times. In between those cycles, I'm dealing with this brown spotting and constant pain (it feels like it's coming from my ovaries). I feel terrible, and it's just making life so difficult.
I'm planning to head to my gynecologist in the next few days to finally get some answers.
So, I was wondering, have any of you dealt with something similar? How did you manage to get everything back under control?
