Period talk: Questions and advice

I’m currently on Lindanet 20 and I’m looking to push my period back by a few days. So, I was wondering—if I just keep taking the pills from an extra pack for as long as I need to delay things, is that how it works? Then, after that final extra pill, do I just start a brand new pack a week later to kick off the next cycle like usual? Or am I supposed to wait a different number of days after those extra ones are gone?
