Period talk: Questions and advice

About a month and a half ago, I had sex (right on my ovulation day, unfortunately) and my boyfriend didn't finish inside me. My period arrived normally afterward, but then on day 18 of my cycle, I dealt with this reddish-brown discharge that lasted about three days, along with some stinging. Now, my period is already seven days late. While I don't necessarily feel like I'm pregnant, there's still a possibility, right? In the past, I've usually just dealt with minor infections or inflammation. I don't have an appointment with my OBGYN for another two weeks, so I'm looking to get your thoughts first.
