But if your hormone levels get out of whack—which is usually the culprit, though there are other possibilities—it can happen more frequently, just like what you're dealing with right now.
As long as the bleeding isn't getting heavy, you can probably hold off until you're back and can see a doctor.
There's also a chance it could just stop on its own within the next couple of weeks.
Thanks so much, you've really helped calm my nerves a bit. I’m honestly just hoping it stops soon and that it isn't anything major.

No, I haven't. And honestly, it’s just not an option right now. To make matters worse, I'm currently out of the country and don't have any medical coverage here. I won't be back home for another twenty days or so. I'll head to the doctor then, but that feels like a lifetime away.
Hey everyone, I’m a young woman, just twenty years old. For a while now, I've been dealing with irregular periods.
However, starting around early March, things took a weird turn. My flow keeps shifting between black and red colors. It happens quite often and hasn't stopped yet—it's still constantly changing. It isn't heavy or anything, but I honestly have no idea what's going on. I'm pretty worried about it. There's no sign that this will pass or that it might get heavier. :S
I'd really appreciate any thoughts or personal experiences you all might have.
