Thanks for the reply... I actually ended up learning quite a bit about this on my own. My OB-GYN didn't even suggest a microbiology screen since my Pap smear came back perfect, so I just went out and requested one myself. And sure enough, I have ureaplasma. It's one of those things that doesn't show any symptoms in women at all. You can carry it for ages without knowing, but by the time symptoms actually pop up, it's often too late. It causes infertility because it makes it hard for sperm to reach its target, and it can also lead to miscarriages. Some signs include pelvic pain or a fever, but that's usually only once the levels in your system hit $10^{-5}$.

I tried searching this forum for anything about her, but came up empty... I'm really curious to hear what you all have dealt with regarding this bacteria. Honestly, I didn't even know 🙂 existed until now. Some people say it’s dangerous, while others swear you don't even need treatment!! 😕
