Zac, you've got some interesting stuff here, but man, your prices are way too high. It’s been such a trend over the last seven years to just jack up prices, especially for local artists. We’re all hoping—regardless of what anyone says—that prices finally take a massive dive 🙂
If we're talking about Discipline, anything over $50 per copy is out of the question; maybe a little less. And as for Orgazam's 'North American Horror Rock,' if it's in near mint condition, forget asking more than $83... if it's in lower condition, you're looking at maybe $50 tops. You get the idea. I see people trying to push these records for 100 bucks, but they can't move them even after dropping the price to 50. That worked for a tiny window of time, but you'll see for yourself that the market has stalled. That bubble burst. About 7 or 8 years ago, Discipline wouldn't go for more than $50 even in mint condition. Then, suddenly, within a year or two, the prices just spiked. Now, we just have to wait for the prices on these types of records to return to normal. Don't buy them, even if they're practically falling apart. People have been holding onto these high prices for 10 years, and eventually, the folks looking to make a quick buck will start dropping their asks. It's starting to happen now, actually... I've been selling for years myself, so I know how it goes. Record prices have peaked. From here, they're only going down. And singles? They aren't moving at all anymore—even the guys running the local used record shops won't hide that fact.
Once you bring those records down to $33 or something in that ballpark, maybe we can do business. Until then, I'm just waiting. And waiting usually ends when someone finally snaps and can't stand the wait any longer, so they drop the price. hehehe
