Bloodwork looks good. No need to pull any more samples anytime soon. I just really want to nail down my blood type. I'll have to head over to the blood bank to get that sorted out, which is the plan. Gonna go there with emlo.
Thanks for the support.
Just checking in! I survived. As for the cream, it actually worked, though I was low-key terrified they’d call me in too early because I was worried it wouldn't kick in yet.
When they finally took the patch off, I was pretty sure I wouldn't feel a thing—and I didn't. But I still pulled my jacket over my head just so I wouldn't have to see anything. I basically hid behind my other hand.
I didn't feel any pain, but I had to hang out for a bit with all those people holding cotton balls and dealing with urine samples. Honestly, watching that made me feel sick, and I started feeling like I was going to pass out. I didn't, though. My mom said I turned completely pale, so I laid down for a second and felt better. That fear is really the main reason I felt so lightheaded. Still, this definitely makes things easier. Plus, the nurse drawing my blood was amazing. She suggested I skip the cream next time, but I told her that's asking way too much of me.
Last time they drew blood, I was already starting to spiral the moment the needle hit, but today would've been totally fine if I could've just walked away immediately.
The environment is what kills you. It's just too heavy.
Man, if you only knew how much you helped me out.
I can't wait to get my hands on this cream.
Gonna slap it on first thing tomorrow morning at 5:30 AM.
Can't wait to see if it actually works... hoping I'll be feeling "untouchable."
How much am I supposed to use, and how far in advance?
I’m heading out early, around 6 AM, so I need to know when to apply it. I saw on the Emle website that it can sit for up to five hours, so maybe I'll just put it on an hour before I leave? That way it stays on until I get to the front of the line.
Does it soak in, or are they going to make me wipe it off? Pretty sure people are gonna give me some weird looks if I show up like this.
So, my persistence actually paid off. One pharmacy finally managed to order it for me, and now I'm just playing the waiting game for delivery. It was supposed to be here by noon, but no luck yet. Since I put the order under my own name, it feels pretty much like I already have it in hand. I’m heading back downtown later this afternoon toward Eml.
The price is $58. Honestly, it felt a bit steep, but since this is the only way I can get my bloodwork done and I couldn't find it anywhere else, I'll bite.
I really need some help here. I am deathly afraid of getting blood drawn and I try to avoid it at all costs. I was supposed to go this morning, but I couldn't even sleep last night because I was so terrified. It made me feel nauseous, and I just kept reliving that needle sensation in my head.
I just read about emla 5 last night. I called every single pharmacy in Indianapolis trying to find it, but no luck. Most places say you have to order it and wait. I need to get my blood work done ASAP since I just finished a round of antibiotics.
I would give anything to get my hands on that emla cream right now.
How do you guys get it? Do you actually need a prescription?
