Scaphoid bone injury/fracture help?

Has anyone here actually dealt with a fracture in this specific bone before? I’m talking to anyone who’s been through it—has anyone here experienced how incredibly tricky and nasty this particular break can be? I'd really love to hear about your own experiences... if you don't mind sharing...
