While the anesthesia part went perfectly fine, I ended up seeing Dr. Ignatovski in Milwaukee, and honestly, the guy felt like a complete amateur; things just happen how they happen, and frankly, it’s a massive risk. You really need to double-check who you're booking with and demand they sign a contract regarding the final aesthetic outcome—something based on computer imaging—otherwise, you have absolutely no recourse.
I suspect there isn't a single surgeon in the US who would actually sign a contract guaranteeing a specific look, though I really think something like that ought to be implemented. Even then, we're talking about a margin of error of maybe a millimeter, because hitting an exact target within half a millimeter is physically impossible.
It would protect both sides. As it stands now, the patient is always treated like the "fool" because people just say, "Well, that's what they asked for," but the real issue is what they actually intended to achieve. I'm certain there are patients with totally unrealistic expectations, just as there are doctors who stubbornly apply the exact same methods and nose shapes to everyone.
In most cases, it's definitely the latter.

Someone very close to me went through this and ended up receiving a massive settlement. I can see how much this is weighing on your mental health, and if you've had to see a psychologist or psychiatrist because of the trauma, that’s all part of your damages... just please, don't let them fix this on your dime, girl!!😢
Oh dear, thank you so much for posting this. You know, their biggest advantage is that most of us tend to keep these things quiet, not wanting to drag ourselves back to court or relive the same traumas in the public eye over and over again. I have so much respect for anyone you know who actually has the courage to step forward.
The bottom line is to use your head and look for specialists who aren't necessarily the ones being hyped up in the media, but rather those with the deepest experience. Don't look at press coverage; look at the track record. Ask them to show you proof of at least 30 revision cases they've handled—even better if they can show successful revisions—before you make any decisions.
In my opinion, someone who has mastered difficult revision surgeries isn't going to mess up your initial procedure.
I agree, though no matter how much those "in the know" judge those who aren't, they are still colleagues and won't turn on one another.
If a massive mistake was made during the initial surgery, you simply cannot expect the same plastic surgeon to be the one to fix it...
The reality is that everyone makes mistakes occasionally—it happens to all doctors, whether they are internists or gynecologists—but some people make them constantly, and that is the true distinction.
And the hard truth is that there is no way to stop the teams who repeatedly cause such damage and essentially "disfigure" people, because they have spread through the media like a plague and will always find an uninformed, impressionable clientele. I was one of those people once, and now I am paying the price. 🤷
So now, I am searching for someone who can actually help me look like my old self again, or at least get close to it...
I just want to reach a point where I don't feel ashamed to stand in front of a camera, something I used to absolutely love doing...
The easiest patients to handle are those with truly massive, obvious noses. Everyone else, those who just want to look "a little bit better," are the most difficult cases, and it is incredibly easy to do a poor job with them...and I fall right into that category.
Hi everyone, has anyone here gone through with a rhinoplasty revision recently?
Specifically, I’m looking into getting cartilage grafted into areas where there's a bit of a deficit...
Any information or experiences you could share would be greatly appreciated!
Does anyone happen to know which surgeon performed the rhinoplasty for Isaac Sharp?
Absolutely perfect! This is what a successful rhinoplasty looks like 👍
It’s just an objective fact that it's actually easier to fix a nose with this kind of structure than it is to handle one where you're just looking for tiny, subtle tweaks...
MALENA_ST, what exactly went wrong during your first procedure, and who did you end up choosing for the revision?
Good luck!!!
I've only been on this new regimen for a month, and I'm honestly feeling a bit overwhelmed...
Kenneth Kim67, what exactly went wrong during your first procedure? I'm curious about what didn't work out for you and which specialist you eventually decided to go to for the revision.
Wishing you all the best!!!
Chloe Howard5 said:It was the exact same experience for me... Zambelli had to reconstruct my nose after Glumičić removed way too much cartilage, leaving it looking far too thin, elongated, and crooked on one side. I was absolutely livid during my recovery period. However, Zambelli handled everything perfectly, and I am beyond thrilled with the results! I also went back to Z. later on to get some lip filler with Restylan, and because he applied it so deeply—over 1.5 cm—it’s still holding up beautifully. I really have nothing but praise for Zambelli...
I've heard nothing but wonderful things about him. It sounds like there's real hope for me after all!🙂
Nicole Ruiz96 said:I know this might be a bit off-topic, but I feel like it's somewhat relevant here, so bear with me... I was wondering if anyone else has tried getting a non-surgical rhinoplasty using dermal fillers like Juvederm or Radiesse? I really don't want to go under the knife since I have no issues breathing, but there's this tiny bump that shows up when I'm seen from the side (though my nose looks fine from the front). So, my question is: what is the actual process like, how much does the needlework hurt, and what kind of price range should I expect? 🙂
It’s definitely going to be less painful than surgery. You can get some really lovely results, and it's actually incredibly popular over here right now, though you have to keep in mind it isn't a permanent fix because those fillers eventually break down,
but as a starting point, it's certainly a much less invasive and safer route than opting for full surgery.
I honestly don't get what she actually had done; that little bump is still right there. Plus, her entire nose looks larger now—though I'm assuming that's just from the swelling...
I'm not a fan of overly small, upturned noses either, but this just looks off, I agree..
I stumbled upon this thread and noticed things have been pretty quiet here lately.
Ladies, if you’ve dealt with what I’m going through—that deep sense of dissatisfaction following a rhinoplasty—please reach out and share your stories.
I’m seriously considering a revision surgery, but I am completely lost on who to trust.
The only surgeon I’ve heard of is Zambelli, mainly because I read he was the one who worked on Severina.
Has anyone here actually been a patient of his, or perhaps someone else entirely?
Some people seem to praise Bastaić, but does anyone actually know anything about his work?
As it stands, my nose looks far too narrow, it's overly upturned, and it clearly looks shortened.
What I really need is to lower the tip, widen the base, and add some volume back.
To make matters worse, I can't even breathe properly anymore.
My initial procedure was performed by one of the most prominent plastic surgeons in the country, so there isn't any kind of guarantee to fall back on.
I really need some help!
Joshua Scott62 said:Hey everyone,
I was actually thinking about getting rhinoplasty myself, but I honestly can't tell if I truly need it. xD
I feel a bit awkward posting these photos here, but I'd really value your honest take on things.

So, those are the two shots; I'd be grateful if you could just give me a simple yes or no.😁
It’s true that there is a slight bump, but honestly, that kind of look works well for men.
A lot of male models actually have imperfect noses that give them a sense of character.
I worry that if you go through with fixing that tiny irregularity, you might end up losing some of your unique personality.
Guys often end up looking a bit artificial or overly feminine after nose surgery,
so if I were in your shoes, I would probably pass on it.
Best,
I just read that Zambelli from Cleveland was the one who fixed Madonna's nose.
To me, her nose looks alright now? It used to be way too thin after that surgery she had with Glumičić, and there were those holes on the sides, though I can't tell if it's still slightly crooked or if it's just my imagination.??????
What are your thoughts on this?
Has anyone here actually worked with Zambelli before?
This has been an absolute nightmare!
Honestly, I’ve been practically hiding from everyone for the last few months following my surgery,
and it’s all because I was chasing some impossible idea of perfection.
I feel completely let down by Unknown.
I really went in thinking he was a top-tier surgeon, but he clearly doesn't have a clue what he's doing.
Looking back now, it's clear his work is problematic—he botched the nose job for Unknown, and he gave Unknown a nose that is way too narrow for a guy who's 6'7"... it's honestly ridiculous.
If I could turn back the clock, I would have used my head.
Grace Kern3, you are obviously the lucky exception here; I'm glad things worked out for you.
If anyone knows who I should reach out to for a revision surgery—or whatever the term is—
please, give me some suggestions!!!
Kenneth Harris27 said:Oh my god, with whom?? Did you have some kind of complicated procedure?
My case wasn't complicated, and nothing went wrong during the actual surgery itself.
The issue is simply that the surgeon completely ignored my specific requests and preferences, choosing instead to just follow his usual routine and produce the exact same look he gives everyone else. 😠While that style might work for some people, on me, it looks absolutely terrible.
I was seeing Unknown. Now I’m stuck waiting an entire year before I can even consider a revision, and who knows what kind of extra steps will be required then.😕
I am definitely open to any advice from anyone who has had to undergo a revision after their initial rhinoplasty!
But as for him—absolutely not, not even in my wildest dreams.
There’s a huge chance things could go south for you. I had my own procedure just a few months ago, and now my nose looks exactly like Unknown's. It's an absolute disaster.👎
If I had any idea what to expect, I wouldn't have done it even in my wildest dreams...
