High AST and ALT levels: What do they mean?

I'm guessing it's some inflammation... the liver is super sensitive. You should probably just rest as much as possible and stick to a clean, cooked diet. It might also help to drink beet juice or eat more beets. A few years back, my levels were way higher—ALT at 862 and AST at 756—but once I changed my lifestyle, everything cleared right up. Oh, and stay away from alcohol. I'm so strict about it that I don't even touch chocolates if they have any alcohol in them...
