It’s been about six months since I moved to San Francisco, and I still haven't managed to track down a decent dentist who accepts Medicare without tacking on massive extra fees. Back home, I had a perfectly fine dentist who only ever charged me a small co-pay of maybe 15-$6.75 bucks. However, from what I’ve heard firsthand here in San Francisco, some providers who technically take Medicare are still hitting patients with huge additional charges. That is, quite frankly, financially impossible for me right now. I’m not looking for high-end boutique service; I just want someone reasonably good who actually honors the coverage.
If anyone happens to know a reliable dentist who works through Medicare without those sneaky extra costs, please shoot me a DM or reply here. It’s getting pretty urgent—I need to get a few teeth sorted out, and I really can't afford to be fleeced by some clinic. Thanks.
