I'm looking for recommendations for a solid ophthalmologist or retinologist—specifically someone who specializes in the fundus—but I want a specialist working within the public healthcare system. I already have a private doctor I've seen for an exam and a consultation, but I’d really like a second opinion from a hospital specialist.
I've heard the best ones are over at Mercy Hospital, whereas people say the staff at Vinogradski are pretty mediocre and just don't seem to care much.

Has anyone here dealt with the dermatologists over at Nola Clinic or the Dermalife team? Or maybe someone has a different recommendation entirely? I’m dealing with some scalp issues—major flaking.
Has anyone actually sat in one of their chairs lately and can share what the experience was like?
How are they professionally? And more importantly, what are we looking at in terms of pricing?

from what I’ve gathered, they’re excellent and you don't have to wait more than a few days,
plus they just brought on another specialist who is supposedly top-tier, coming over from the Mayo Clinic network.
