Looking for a specialist...

I’m not sure where this question belongs, so I’ll just drop it here. I heard something today that sounded like science fiction. Is there actually a possibility of someone getting some kind of artificial skin grafted onto their face? Does something like that truly exist? I know it’s used for people who have survived major fires, but I find it hard to wrap my head around. Is that kind of technology actually available here in the States?
