Milton is great... I saw him once for some legal stuff, and he's super professional. BUT—he isn't cheap.

Thanks, hadn't heard of that site... I'll probably go private for the first visit, then see how it goes. Washington, D.C....
As for the whole gender thing, my wife only saw doctors through her insurance when she was pregnant, but once went to a male OBGYN for an exam. Usually, she goes to a woman at a private clinic, and she mentioned the guy was actually gentler... So, yeah, expertise matters.

Any guys here dealt with urologists lately? Or ladies—what have your partners told you about their experiences?

I’ve heard the rumor that it’s just like OB-GYNs—that male specialists are somehow "gentler" or whatever... so does that mean a female urologist would be the way to go if you want someone more careful?

Also, if anyone has a solid recommendation—man or woman, doesn't matter—let me know.
