Because of my family history and after sitting through some genetic counseling, I've been told I need to stay on top of things with regular breast ultrasounds and abdominal scans every six months.
Since we're dealing with a fibroadenoma—and according to my doctor, "a bad radiologist will totally miss or misinterpret a lesion, while a good one can read the image without any trouble"—I'm looking for a solid recommendation on where to go for these scans: should I stick to New York City or head over to Indianapolis?
Basically, I just want an experienced, high-quality radiologist I can see consistently, rather than bouncing around to a different person every six months... Thanks a million!
