So, turns out it was just the flu...
since I'm feeling alright now—the doctor says it hit me harder than usual because my immune system was caught off guard, plus my iron levels are low, which basically invited the virus to stay for dinner.
Anyway, I'm doing fine now...no fever or anything.
Thanks for everything, but hopefully, it really was just a bad case of the flu.

My advice? If you’ve got this intense, unbearable, vague pain radiating through your lower abdomen along with pressure in your lower back—and it burns every time you pee—just head straight to the ER. They'll admit you immediately and run every test in the book, including a urine culture. I was at the hospital today—went to see the doc... they didn't even ask for a urine sample or anything... just a quick physical and a finger prick for blood work. He basically told me it’s probably just the flu and to swing back by on Monday to see how I'm holding up—maybe we'll run some actual tests then.
Well, I guess that's just how it goes...

So?
Is it possible I’ve picked up an STD?
The report shows quite a bit of mucus, epithelial cells, and bacteria... 😢

Ugh, my fever peaked at 104.2... yeah... and I deal with this every single day. It’s constant.
I'm heading to the infectious disease clinic tomorrow to drop off a urine sample, so we'll see if it's some kind of bacteria... great.

And well... my urinary tract isn't giving me any grief.
Nothing hurts... just a bit of a fever. hm.

I went to see my doctor and she took one look at my labs and basically said they weren't anything to write home about... mentioned something about a UTI or whatever—but honestly, everything feels fine on that front. I’m not having any issues there; it’s just this fever, the exhaustion, and my entire body aching—which, let's be real, is just the fever doing its thing.
And my blood work... yeah, that's pretty rough too. Plus, I'm dealing with anemia on top of it all.
Do you need any specific details from the blood work?

Went in for bloodwork and a urine sample because I’m feeling pretty rough.
Been running a fever since Friday—it won't quit, just keeps bouncing up and down—so the doctor sent me in for testing.
Just the fever and this massive fatigue.
No sore throat or anything else, really...

Got some blood in my urine—RBC count is sitting at 10-20
-White cell count is also 10-20
-Plus a bunch of epithelial cells, mucus, and bacteria

I know the blood might mean something is up with my kidneys or whatever, but I’m only 17 and I don't have any pain in that area.
All I’ve got is this fever that’s been hanging around for 4 days now..

Can someone walk me through this? Like, is this actually a problem or what?

My white blood cell count is sitting at 9.7, while the standard range is 4.4 to 11.6
So, yeah—they're totally fine 🙂

I'm 17. My ESR is high—it's sitting at 30, while the normal range is supposed to be 2–20.
What am I looking at here? I know it can signal anemia since my iron levels are low, along with my MCH and MCHC—which pretty much screams anemia. Can anyone tell me what else a high ESR might point to??
