You probably don't have hepatitis, but look, we both know the deal—hepatitis is a sneaky, quiet disease. You can feel perfectly fine while it's doing its thing...
In my opinion, it's better to face the music immediately. Postponing a problem isn't actually solving anything! Of course, everyone thinks they know what's best for them... though maybe they don't. If I had actually listened to my parents back in the day, my liver tests would probably be looking normal right now..

The thing is, nobody has bothered to answer me about the actual connection between liver health and physical activity. And why wouldn't I be able to work out? I'm thinking of just taking it easy for maybe ten days or so... just resting. Then, I'll head back to the gym lightly, maybe some soccer, a little sparring, etc... then in about twenty days, I'll go back for more bloodwork just to see where I stand... because I've started eating five meals a day now, mostly lean meats, tuna, turkey breast, yogurt, and low-fat milk... alcohol, soda, sweets, and pork—zero points for those... at least not until I see the new test results...

levels were elevated—both ALT and AST. My ultrasound showed nothing wrong with my liver, but my doctor told me I need to get tested for Hepatitis C. Honestly, I don't think I could have caught it through sex, but then again... you can pick it up at the dentist. I’m terrified of going for the screening. Now I have to go back and run the labs all over again. On top of that, I used to be incredibly thin, and then within just six months, I gained 20 pounds. I can't help but wonder if my liver is reacting to that sudden weight gain after being so skinny for years... anyway, I'm just scared of any kind of diagnosis.

🙄🙄🙄
Look, I have nothing against you personally, but I truly cannot wrap my head around that way of thinking... seriously, just use some logic here...?!?!
Let's look at the scenarios if you have or don't have Hepatitis;
1) You have Hepatitis and you don't know it. The disease progresses day by day while you refuse treatment, basically just burying your head in the sand... and you'll likely end up infecting someone else, maybe your partner or even your child..

2) You find out you have Hepatitis and you get treated and cured over time...

3) You don't have Hepatitis. You went for the test, confirmed it, and now you're relieved and happy..

NOW YOU TELL ME WHICH OPTION IS THE SMARTER MOVE.
I really appreciate you sending over that link and all those instructions. Thanks.🙂

Listen, I stumbled upon something actually interesting:

The treatment protocol is basically identical to how you’d handle Hepatitis A—you just stay in bed and rest until... Bilirubin. Just one word, but it carries enough weight to throw an entire medical profile out of whack. It’s one of those markers that keeps you staring at lab results late at night, wondering if everything is actually fine or if your system is quietly struggling. Honestly, it’s a lot to process when you're just trying to make sense of the numbers. My urine is testing positive, and my liver is actually tender when I palpate the area. I’ve already started cutting back on fats and completely cutting out alcohol along with any other substances that could be toxic to the liver. Just trying to manage this.

So, I just got my latest blood and urine results back. The Bilirubin came back negative this time—which is a relief, considering they flagged those elevated liver enzymes during my tests just last week.
Angela Wright, does that mean I definitely don't have hepatitis? Because it clearly says right there that the Bilirubin was positive during the Hepu test.

Edit; by the way, I just stumbled upon another page claiming that hepatitis causes an increase in Bilirubin levels...
So... can I basically say there's a 97% chance I don't have Hep?
The vaccine? Honestly, I’d get it right this second, but first I have to wait on my lab results to see if I even qualify... 😁🙄

Besides, I keep hearing rumors about all these side effects... some people say you can actually catch the virus from the shot itself... and isn't the whole vaccination process supposed to drag on for years or something?
Angela Wright...

Look... I used to think these kinds of illnesses were something else entirely... something far removed from my own life. But clearly, we’re all, more or less, exposed to them. So, I started digging around online, and the stories follow a pretty predictable pattern: "I caught Hep from an ex who used drugs"... and it's plainly stated that hepatitis spreads much more easily through unnatural debauchery—or what they call by the modern euphemism, anal sex. And that is precisely what homosexuals practice... and there are so many ways you might accidentally contract the virus from them, just like you wrote yourself: from the dentist, hospitals, even just incidental contact with things where they leave their deadly traces behind...
Angela Wright said:You think hepatitis only comes from homosexuals and drug users?! You couldn't be more wrong.☕ They’re a high-risk group, sure, but so are straight girls and guys who jump from partner to partner constantly. You can pick up hepatitis in a hospital—like a friend of mine did while she was being treated for cancer—or through tattoos, piercings, even at the dentist.
I'd take the word of a gay man living a clean, healthy lifestyle over some macho guy acting tough any day of the week.😳

If I were you, I’d be much more worried about the psychopaths in the supplement industry selling "muscle builders" to young kids looking for a quick ego boost.👎

Look, I never said those diseases don't originate there; what I'm saying is that they spread most heavily within those specific groups, just like AIDS. You can defend them all you want, but medical science and actual research show a significantly higher deviation from the average when it comes to the prevalence of these diseases within those two populations...

Catching an illness at the dentist or during medical treatment is a fluke—it's an exception. But for the two groups mentioned above, it isn't an exception; it's the rule that they are the primary drivers behind the spread of these infectious, deadly diseases...👎
It's just terrible...

these degenerates and drug addicts are going to be the death of us all in the end...😠
And nobody even knows if I’m allowed to work out or not.

I honestly don't get how exercise could possibly mess with my liver, yet my primary care physician is telling me my liver is so damaged that I shouldn't be exercising at all.
Angela Wright said:Anyway, the hepatitis virus is incredibly resilient. It’s enough to just touch some dried, barely visible trace of blood from an infected person—somewhere you might have an open scratch, like a shaving nick on your face. Even if it is hepatitis, and even if it's in the acute phase, you can manage it quite easily.
Your liver is under strain right now, so it's going to take time to recover, which means plenty of rest. I suspect similar liver enzyme fluctuations happen with mononucleosis too, so that really should be ruled out.
From my own experience, I’d highly recommend taking Silymarin. And obviously, for the time being, stay far away from cigarettes, alcohol, and soda.

But what if it isn't in the acute phase? And how do you even tell which stage you're in?

I was reading somewhere online that with viral hepatitis, ALT or AST levels usually spike anywhere from 10 to 40 times the maximum reference value, yet mine are barely even doubled...
Zachary Anderson34 said:There could be a dozen different reasons listed here, honestly.
Just get some blood work done to check for viruses and your lipid levels.
But let's be real—it’s almost certainly from all that junk you drink. Those additives? They absolutely wreck your liver.

God, I hope it's just that. Just please, let it not be Hep...
I am absolutely losing my mind right now... just saw my lab results...😲😢👎

AST is at 57
ALT is sitting at 98
GGT is 100

It’s not like I’ve ever lived on junk food... I eat a lot, sure—four meals a day—and I’ve got a little bit of a gut, but nothing crazy... I'm only 23...

I stay active too. Boxing, soccer, hitting the gym... but honestly, I’ve been slamming a ton of supplements lately—creatine, taurine, caffeine—so maybe my liver is just completely trashed because of all that. Plus protein shakes... and yeah, I have a drink once a week. Just a regular weekend thing, like most people...

As for hepatitis, I haven't even considered it. I don't see how I would have picked anything up... I don't do drugs, and I don't go out looking for trouble in sketchy places...🤷...
but I’ll get tested anyway just to be sure... even if my doctor thinks there's no way I have hepatitis...

The diet part isn't what's killing me. It's the fact that my doctor told me that with my liver being in this state, I can't exercise at all. That's a total gut punch...
Now I'm seeing some people posting here about how they actually lowered their enzyme levels through exercise, which is the exact opposite of what my doctor is telling me... what do you guys think? Because it feels totally contradictory...😕

And please, which supplements actually work for recovery? There are a million things listed on this forum, but you can't just swallow everything at once...
Whey? Aloe vera? Silymarin? Vitamin B? Some kind of liver tonic? Olive oil? Carrot juice?
