I’m looking for some insight here.
We just got some blood work back, and for the most part, everything looks fine—except the bilirubin (Total and Direct) is significantly elevated.
The numbers are: Total Bilirubin = 61.9H (3.4-20.5)
Direct Bilirubin = 9.6 (0.0-3.4)
The patient is an older gentleman, about 65 years old.🙄
He’s never had any issues with alcohol or anything of that nature.
I guess I was wondering if anyone could help me make sense of this.😕
