Looking for a specialist... in Health ·
Regarding gynecologists, you actually have several different subforums or discussion threads dedicated to them... for instance,

From what I’ve gathered through my own reading and searching around the Chicago area, finding an OB-GYN covered by Blue Cross Blue Shield who is actually accepting new patients is nearly impossible; the waitlists are endless, and you can easily find yourself waiting two months just for an initial appointment.

For a dentist, I would recommend Ljiljana Knezović, located in the floral district within the 3rd pavilion... she shares that same location as the general practitioner whose name escapes me for the moment, though I could certainly double-check if anyone needs that specific info.

As for a dermatologist, there is the clinic in Shalata—they have Dr. Bukvić, Basta-Juzbašić, and one other specialist whose name I can't quite recall... I’ve personally visited all three of them at different points. It really just comes down to how busy the office is at any given time, but in my experience, they are all quite capable.😁

Does anyone happen to know a reliable ENT specialist who is proficient in performing high-quality ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration biopsies on parotid gland nodules? I’ve had some rather complicated experiences regarding this matter, which I detailed over at this link if anyone feels like reading through them.
Thanks.

I don't know much about your specific situation, but I actually saw Dr. Đepine over in the Napa Valley area for a nose job...
I'm not sure if he'll be the right fit for you, but you might want to give his office a call just to check. He's an incredibly kind and approachable person, so even if he isn't the one you see, you can at least have a decent conversation with him...

1) A primary care physician in Washington, D.C. (ideally somewhere in Downtown, Midtown, or Brooklyn—just nothing out in the far reaches like Queens or San Jose, because I really don't want to feel like I need to book a flight just to get a check-up 🙂). I’m not particularly picky, provided they aren't the type to glare at me the moment I walk through the door, and I'd prefer not to have to practically die just to secure a referral for a specialist, or spend two hours sitting in a waiting room even when I've had an appointment scheduled a month in advance...

2) A dentist in that same general area. It is quite important to me that I don't have to undergo any sort of intense psychological preparation before my visit, mostly because I want someone who doesn't skimp on the anesthesia; I'd rather not have a tooth fall out or end up with a sore jaw because the filling wasn't done properly. 🙂

Thanks in advance for any suggestions via PM or right here!

To reiterate, try Mary Johnson; her office is located within the 3rd pavilion of the Springfield complex... she is wonderful with female patients, she is incredibly thorough with her work, and you won't have to deal with any unnecessary stress before your appointment... 😉

It looks like I haven't seen any solid recommendations for a good ENT specialist around here yet. Since I’m actually in need of one quite urgently, I would be incredibly grateful if anyone could point me in the right direction. It really doesn't matter whether they take my insurance or if I have to pay out of pocket privately—I just need someone reliable. Thanks so much.

I was thinking about Dr. Thompson over at the Vineyard Hospital... 🙂

Dr. Ljiljana Knezović runs her practice out of the third pavilion at the Flower Settlement student housing complex in Cleveland... she accepts Medicare patients... she truly knows her craft and does an absolutely incredible job... 🙂I would definitely recommend her to anyone... 🙂

To give you an idea of my experience, this past week was a complete nightmare for me—dealing with a broken tooth, various treatments, and some nasty inflammation. I had already consulted two different dentists, both of whom recommended extraction (one of them was from a private practice and was actually quite skilled), but I was terrified. The pain was so intense that even touching the area felt unbearable. However, when I saw her, I actually let her perform the drilling without any anesthesia at all. I promise you, if she tells you it won't hurt, it really won't... 🙂(unlike my previous dentist, where I thought I wouldn't survive the drilling process). She also performed a scaling to remove tartar; while most people find that part excruciating, it was completely painless with her... 🙂On top of that, she managed to spot several other issues that the first two dentists had missed entirely... so, for now... I just want to share my praise... 🙂
