Since she runs a private practice but still takes Medicare, how does the billing actually work? Like, what kind of prices are we looking at? For example, white fillings and stuff like that...?

My experience with her was just awful—she's a total fraud looking for a quick buck. But the real kicker is how she plays this super-extra-slimy nice persona. Whenever they're doing something covered by Medicare, her assistants handle it. But the second something requires out-of-pocket payment, she steps in herself. Her equipment looks like it hasn't been updated since the 80s, which is ridiculous considering what she charges. She’ll constantly tell you she’ll let you know when there’s an extra cost... then she waits until the very last second, once everything is already installed, to drop the price bomb on you $400 (on other sites, people say it's 200 or 300—specifically for a metal buildup) plus a ceramic crown is 1600 (that part seems fine). And then she'll look you straight in the eye and lie, claiming she told you everything upfront when she absolutely didn't. Oh, and to top it off, my tooth still hurts from the work they did, and I've been dragging my feet for almost two years trying to find a new dentist because I'm too scared of running into more scammers like her. She isn't physically violent, but she's definitely a con artist.
