Aha, okay... so that’s what I thought... they received the activation code and yet they still can't post anything at all.
I suppose that means the admin has to manually approve everyone on the forum,
if I recall correctly—though it might have been back in 2007—that was actually how things used to work.

I have a question for one of the moderators here. I started a thread on Chatroom to reconnect with some friends from a defunct forum, and now a few of them have reached out saying they managed to register, but they can't seem to post anything or even leave a reply.

I was wondering if anyone might know what the issue could be, because they’re claiming they went through the whole registration process on Reddit properly, yet they're still blocked from posting.
