Dealing with hemorrhoids

So, I just slogged through all 18 pages of this thread... and I’m still looking for some guidance.
A few years back, I dealt with painful, bleeding hemorrhoids. I managed to get rid of them, and they haven't come back in that specific way, though I occasionally deal with some itching in the area.
A couple of days ago, I felt a lump. Naturally, I grabbed a mirror to investigate and found what looks like a small, skin-colored sac hanging from the rectum. It isn't inflamed, swollen, or painful, and my bowel movements are normal. I'm wondering if this is just another hemorrhoid—should I be applying a cream like Preparation H, or should I be trying to push it back in?🤷
I'd appreciate any insight someone could offer... thanx.🙏
