Do you even care about anyone besides the Los Angeles Lakers or the Dallas Cowboys? It seems a bit ridiculous to me. I get that Cleveland isn't quite as high-stakes as the Lakers, but grouping Cleveland and Red Sox Nation in with small-town teams from the Midwest... that's just completely misplaced.
Why don't you guys just start your own little league where you can play each other every weekend and call it a day...!!
Since you clearly don't care much anyway....
Personally, I’d love it if every away game for Barcelona (or any other major US club) had a welcome like they get at Santa Monica. I think our league and the whole fan scene would be way more intense and interesting. But apparently, you just get butterflies in your stomach whenever the Lakers come to visit Miami!
Who knows, maybe you'll actually feel some excitement when the Lakers show up...🤷

Come on, you're misinterpreting me again... to put it simply, visually it's a great derby, but personally, nothing about it really hits home for me👍
I'm just over it...☕

This coffee turned into a few beers and eventually a couple liters of wine, so I didn't really intend to reply, but I wanted to make sure hero doesn't get the wrong idea about me.😁

The atmosphere at Santa Monica has all the right fan elements, and visually speaking, it’s often way more interesting than a derby at Yankee Stadium.
But my point is that personally, I don't feel any tension at all. Between the tedious drive to Cleveland, listening to their crowd, inevitably being late to the stadium, and then being stuck there forever after the game ends... plus, I don't view Red Sox Nation as some massive enemy, nor am I particularly fired up against them. It's rare to expect an actual incident that would make the away trip worth the hassle. Honestly, I wouldn't mind skipping Cleveland entirely.
Especially when they come to Miami, I couldn't care less.

Man, playing against the Los Angeles Lakers is just a completely different beast, whether you're at home or on the road... you just get that feeling in your gut, and that's that. No need to explain further...☕

The real derby in America is the New York Yankees vs. the New York Yankees... the buildup, the logistics, the sheer gut-wrenching tension, that palpable hatred in the air...
If you look online, nothing even comes close. People live for games like this. The physical preparation, the street battles or highway confrontations that simmer for years...
The messages are crafted, the choreographies are planned, the flares are lit, and both sides bring massive crowds. Compared to anything else, it's on a different level... I mean, there's The Super Bowl, but still...
It has style, sure, but comparing it to the Yankees-Red Sox matchup is just laughable. We all know the truth.

Bravo.
👍
When Seattle visits Miami, it feels the exact same way as when Cleveland comes to town. That's just the reality of it...☕
P.S... I'll explain myself later.

It’s truly lovely when someone lives in their own little fantasy world... please, carry on. Go grab a coffee or something.👍

This town today... but then you get a call at 2:00 AM saying the ride is canceled because the boss is too afraid of a little confrontation...😢

The Subway Series, especially when played out in Seattle, is objectively the most electric rivalry in America from a supporter standpoint. I’m not suggesting that Real Madrid and the Boston Red Sox don't draw bigger crowds or generate more tension, but when you look at the atmosphere of both stands—the pyrotechnics, the choreographies, the sheer numbers—it just isn't comparable.

Honestly, the atmosphere was so dull that I could barely stay focused. For me, it was one of the more tedious away trips... or do you people actually think we’re standing out there admiring you, or that you’re actually intimidating us?🤷
It doesn't even come close to the intensity of playing Real Madrid, though even Central Park can be a bit of a snooze fest sometimes...

It’s the same feeling you all had last year when we snatched it in the 91st minute...

At least close out your signature already... you don't need that question mark anymore.☕

anyway, basically in the realm of mob rules🤣

it was loud enough.

the home crowd was decent, as usual when we travel to their stadium.
I was actually surprised by the other two sections of the stands, which were also pretty good at times.

there, is that better?

Joshua Lopez13 said:Those groups don't just fly their own flags; they bring specific ones for away games. Usually, the local supporter hubs from the surrounding areas take the lead—there's one group using a Belgrade-inspired crest, plus a few other crews, depending on the matchup and the venue.

He's talking about the traveling sections...

🙂

You have the Ultra Boys, the Brigades, and the Heroes... but I suspect the neighborhood crews are running on that same scheme too. Though, honestly, I'm not entirely certain...

darkstag4 said:What kind of flags are those, Mertojak, you absolute moron?!...

Quick question for those who rock the armada style... since when have you guys been flying that white striker flag?

hiddennomad42 said:Baterijelo, Trpanj, Tučepi...

Small towns like Omiš or Županja... they have a certain way of existing that you just don't find in the bigger hubs... quiet, predictable, almost stagnant...
The Armada in Fans ·
darkstag4 said:What kind of flags are those? You guys are absolute clowns...

And a question for the die-hard fans: since what year have they been waving that white "Armada" flag around?

Absolute jokes, all of them.

Frank Gomez31 said:@Paul Taylor2/">@@Paul Taylor2, since the photo is tiny, there isn't much to actually see here. My point is that people focus way too much on how the stands look. Other things matter more... even a group of 50 people can put together a decent choreo or some flags and post photos to get great comments, but at the end of the day, it’s just an image. 😉

Take a company in Mexico, for instance. In just a few years, they swapped out all their banners for these cartoonish, flawless designs. Personally, I couldn't care less.
To me, the history of the banners is what matters, not the aesthetics.
For example, a couple of our own banners have been remade recently, but they were made to look identical to the originals from years ago.
It's about tradition and history, not following some fleeting fashion trend...
