Dealing with hemorrhoids

About ten years ago, I had laser surgery to get rid of them and treated a fissure that popped up at the same time. Honestly, it was great—it actually worked until they decided to show up again recently. Now, after every single bathroom trip, it’s nothing but pain and burning, and I’m bleeding more often than not. I tried calling a few proctologists, but man, what a disaster. The exams and the prices are just insane. For instance, Dr. Misir, who did my laser procedure way back when, has such a great setup; his exam chair is more like an elevated gynecological chair where you just lie down, unlike those other places where you have to awkwardly hump the chair or lie on your side. Plus, Dr. Misir uses lasers instead of that old-school ligation stuff. The results are so much better—way more comfortable, less pain, it dries out the hemorrhoids and tightens the veins immediately so there's zero bleeding. As you can see, I made it ten years totally fine, even while eating junk, but I’ve gone and trashed myself again. I’d go back to Dr. Misir in a heartbeat, but unfortunately, his prices have skyrocketed. Now, every single hemorrhoid costs up to $1667 and a fissure goes up to $2667. I nearly fell on my butt in shock! It used to be like $100 back then, ugh.
So now what? I call Dr. Phil or Dr. Smith, and oh my god, they are straight-up butchers. They do ligation where you bleed everywhere, they shove their fingers inside you, and it hurts like hell. Honestly, I’d love to punch one of them right in the junk! And the exam? One time you're forced to hump the chair, the next you're on your side. The price for those procedures is "cheaper," maybe $1500-$833, but still. And some people don't even treat fissures, or you end up in a hospital under total anesthesia, like what happens over at the Bates clinic. Absolute nightmare.
I also bought those Pfizer tablets. I finished two boxes and now I'm taking a three-month break. That's what Dr. Landon, the Pfizer advisor, suggested. But honestly, even with those, it still hurts after every bowel movement, especially if I have to go again. I feel like things are a bit more resilient, but it's definitely not perfect. I try to watch what I eat, but if I slip up even once, it's game over. My backside has become a total disaster zone. I don't even know what to do anymore. I don't have the cash for Dr. Misir, and I definitely don't have the guts or the energy to deal with those butchers. So yeah, that's my experience. I'm just waiting it out and seeing what happens.🤷
