Dealing with hemorrhoids in Health ·
I’m not entirely sure, since there might be some fat involved in the mix... maybe crush up some Vaseline and stir it all together... I should have the exact recipe by tomorrow. That was honestly my only lifeline.

Starting today, I’ve been using a cream from a guy I know who’s a pharmacist—he doesn't make remedies for just anyone, but he recommended that Vaseline trick to me. He actually whipped up some rather unappealing drops and a cream for me today.

In my life, this has only happened four times, starting about 10 months ago.

The last flare-up was 4.5 months ago.

It’s never actually hurt while using the bathroom, except for yesterday when I had a massive bout of diarrhea for three days straight. :-P

From what I can tell, it isn't as serious an issue as some other people deal with, thank God.

Haha... I love spicy food... like extra hot chili and stuff...
It never bothered me before... though if I had just used creams and things right away, I probably wouldn't be dealing with this now.

What helped me most was that stuff from the pharmacy... been happy ever since.

I can't seem to get things moving every day—it's more like every second or third day, and when it finally happens, it's a total nightmare. I tried those Dulcolax tablets, but the label says not to use them for more than five days. I'm a little worried about messing up my digestive system like that.
Help me out here...😢

🙂

Most people suggest starting the day with some Musli and milk... and basically drinking as much yogurt and fluids as possible...
Home-cooked meals are the goal, but let's be real, we don't always have the time for that...
But whatever you eat, try to pair it with plenty of liquids—milk, water, tea...

Honestly, I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy...

I seriously couldn't sit down, let alone sleep—it didn't matter if I was on my back, my side, or my stomach... nothing worked.

But hey, things were looking up yesterday, and today I feel like a new man... though there's still some work to do. Just wanted to mention,

Lion m helped a little, but what really did it was some plain old ointment (just a basic fat-based one, I think) mixed with some crushed-up Advil...

If you're dealing with heavy bleeding, you’ve got a real issue on your hands. If it happens frequently, too... for me, it used to happen maybe two or three times where I wouldn't even notice, and then it would just clear up on its own. It was always just Grade I or II, gone in a day or two... then overnight, I'll hit Grade IV, which is the absolute worst.
The first thing everyone asks me is if I caught a cold or sat on a concrete bench or something... but I eventually realized I actually have a sort of internal cold—basically a urinary tract inflammation.

To be honest, I wouldn't go for surgery. I know quite a few people—98% of them, really—who went through with it and they're still dealing with the exact same issues today... or at least, they were.

Look into Lion m cream. A few older folks who dealt with this stuff recommended it to me. I wouldn't wish this situation on anyone.

As for me, I'm currently battling Grade 4 stupid hemorrhoids.
Finally managed to catch up on some sleep this afternoon.

I'm using Lion m—it's a local cream, but you can find similar stuff at any pharmacy.
Progress has been minimal so far, but I just started. I've also been mixing ointment with crushed Advil, putting it on gauze, and applying that... we'll see how much progress that actually makes.

I should have some drops and a homemade cream ready by tomorrow.

I think pharmacies might carry similar drops, something for blood vessels or whatever.
It helps soothe things, and the relief should start to linger.

And obviously, regardless of which cream you use, the most basic and important thing is to drink plenty of fluids and watch what you eat.
A lot of people, including doctors, have suggested:
Faktu ointment
Horse chestnut
Chepiche..

And everyone says these things make it worse and should be avoided:
Coffee, cigarettes, alcohol, soda, spicy food, and irregular meals.

The first ten pages cover everything—creams, treatments, all of it. This thread is actually a goldmine. I never thought I'd be the guy looking for this kind of info, but well... life happened yesterday.
They’ve been popping up a few times lately... they just seem to vanish on their own after a bit. But then, I get home last night around 3 AM. I go to take a shower and my backside is absolutely killing me. Just great. I figured I’d just try to sleep and hope it would pass by the morning.

Haha... yep, still haven't slept. Damn.
But after about five hours, I noticed some relief thanks to some Lion m cream, a local brand from near Chicago.

I managed to sleep for two hours before the pain woke me right back up. Thank God I read somewhere that I should eat something dry to help with the bathroom situation while this settles down.
Man, I'm literally perched on the edge of my chair. I can't lie down, I can't sleep—no position feels right except for this one. Honestly, I feel more like I'm standing on one leg than sitting.

It feels like third-degree stuff because every single movement or touch is pure agony.
I read online that you can have one on the left side and maybe two on the right.
Terrible. For me, both sides are a total mess.

Still, I've found plenty of good advice here.🙂

And it's only 10 PM. :P
