Dealing with hemorrhoids

Been lurking on this forum for a long time now. I’m always scrolling through, trying to find answers to my own issues—sometimes I find something useful, sometimes it's just a waste of time. Long story short: for the last six months, I've been dealing with occasional bleeding and this insane itching. I tried basically everything people suggested—just throwing whatever at it. Once things got really bad, I finally saw my doctor, who prescribed some BlackRock pills. Man, those things absolutely wrecked me—massive diarrhea and enough bleeding that I had to rush to a proctologist. He ended up cauterizing an internal hemorrhoid and told me there'd be some bleeding for a few more days. It cost me $200. It’s been three days since then, and I’m still seeing a little blood, so I’m wondering if anyone else here has dealt with this way of clearing out toxins? Also, does anyone know how much longer the blood stays in the stool? My follow-up appointment isn't for another fifteen days
