Sadly, if you're looking at the clinic in downtown Chicago, you should reach out to Dr. Maria Ledynski.
If everything goes smoothly with a laparoscopic procedure, you're usually heading home the next day, and recovery takes about 5 to 6 days.
I'm actually dealing with the exact same thing and I'm getting ready to go there for surgery myself.
Everyone I've talked to who had surgery there has nothing but good things to say, so I decided to pull the trigger too. I think it'll be worth it.
Just a heads up though, the waiting list is months long (welcome to the US healthcare system, I guess!)
