Starting an LLC: Where to begin? in Business, Accounting & Taxes ·
They actually asked me for my commercial lease agreement at the IRS.
Basically, if you want to register your business headquarters, you have to show either a signed lease or proof that the company actually owns the building.

The thing is, income tax is going to be calculated on that rent regardless of what’s written in the $0.00 contract.
So, honestly? It’s smarter to set the lease amount at a certain level—you know, there's a minimum per-square-foot rate required by law—and then just book it as a business expense later on.

Personally, I think the whole point of this forum is just to swap stories and experiences. You need to actually trust the people you're talking to here. Most people come here looking for the "hidden" stuff about running an LLC—the things you can't just Google easily, but you learn through trial and error. So, I don't really buy into this idea that everyone needs to provide massive citations for everything on a forum.

Anyway, down here in Washington, D.C., they definitely demand that lease or ownership proof. If other branches weren't asking for it, I wouldn't even be surprised, given how things run in this country.

Patrick Smith44 said:You missed the mark on the Boldati part; you're talking about Transformers, but whether it's Jumper or Transformers, it's essentially the same thing 🤮

Total fail on my part. I completely hijacked the thread.🙄

Transformers is basically perfect for high schoolers, though honestly, the older crowd should probably just stay away...

The plot is incredibly predictable...

It’s just some geeky kid in school who's totally crushing on this girl—who, of course, happens to be dating the captain of the football team—and predictably, he uses his giant robot car to win her over.🤮

Just did a quick little dive through the web and stumbled onto this link.
Look, if you have a weak stomach, maybe skip it, but honestly, it’s worth a look because you sure as hell aren't going to see this stuff being reported in any mainstream news outlet.

So, here's the real question: is there some kind of economic angle—or just any other excuse, really—that explains why people are letting things like this slide???

I bet the strongest argument they'll throw at you is that "it was the same thing back in Vietnam" and then everyone just moves on, but seriously, is that actually a good enough explanation for this??

🙄

I mean, I’m definitely not out here living my best wellness life anyway, so who knows if this is gonna be the thing that finally breaks me.

Seriously though, this guy hits me up at 8 AM with a text telling me I need to chug like two and a half liters of water... what am I even supposed to say to that? Just hoping he doesn't get any more intense than this.😕

Either you're chugging like four liters of water a day😉

😲😲😲

I mean, yeah, sure, cutting out a glass of milk won't kill you, but the real problem is you’re basically starving your body. You end up losing muscle instead of fat because you aren't getting any actual nutrients. And honestly? With those crazy UN diets, you can definitely drop the weight, but the real question is... how do you actually look once you're done? Usually way worse than before you even started. I get the point about the cost, too, but I actually have a good buddy helping me out—kind of like paying a personal trainer to walk me through nutrition and make sure I'm actually doing something right.🙂

And regarding the weight coming right back? If you go overboard eating normally after a crash diet, yeah, it’s totally going to happen.
I'm not really sweating the health stuff too much right now....

On top of that, this whole thing just looks like some total scam, like one of those "get rich quick" pyramid schemes or whatever.

Anyone here actually tried their weight loss stuff before??

So, I just pulled the trigger on Formula 1 and those herbal fibers... has anyone heard anything about them? Or better yet, has anyone actually seen some real results??
renting.

Look, no single stock, no mutual fund, not even some locked-up savings account is gonna promise you returns that are both this steady and actually worth the effort.

The Jews have always put their money into gold and real estate—that tells you everything you need to know.🙂

fadedstag56 said:So, I wanted to pick your brains on something... my boyfriend ran a red light about a month ago, and he just got the citation in the mail last week. He was hit with a $333 fine, plus he’s facing a two-month suspension on his driver's license. Unfortunately, we didn't file an appeal right away—he just went ahead and paid it. I've been scouring the internet for examples of how to contest these things, and I actually found one case that looked almost identical to ours. In that instance, even though the fine had already been settled (which basically means admitting guilt), they appealed specifically to waive the license suspension because the driver absolutely needed it for work. That specific reasoning was used in the example I found. So, I'm wondering—is it actually possible to file an appeal like that, and do the courts actually take those kinds of circumstances into account? Also, when would you even file it? From what I can gather, he shouldn't be getting a court summons until they officially finalize everything. 😕

It’s over. Game over. All that "I desperately need it" stuff? They think that's hilarious. They couldn't care less about his license, his job, or his life.
He ran a red light, he paid the fine, and as far as they're concerned, case closed.
Honestly, I don't feel bad for him at all. If it were me, I'd take his license away too—who knows, I could've been the one on the other side of that intersection.
Now he's all like, "Oh, I really need it for this and that," 🙄 when just a few days before, he's running red lights with me. 🤣

Naturally, I figured he’d just give me a quick heads-up about my lights being out, but instead, he hits me with a full-blown citation because I don't have lights and am supposedly "endangering traffic." To top it all off, since I didn't have my ID on me, he actually detained me to verify my identity. He told me the total fine is going to be a complete circus $233.
I’m curious if anyone else has dealt with this kind of nonsense from our local police and how things ended up for you.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣:r ofl:

Well, at least it was worth $233 to have a crazy story to tell for the rest of your life.
Kevin Gonzalez79 said:And then I'll just lose weight? Since when is half a bottle of wine and a few shots of bourbon considered a cause for concern?

He could've asked what's actually concerning about being 215 lbs, right?

Personally, I don't think you're fat enough to be starving yourself like that.
Maybe you're just dealing with some drinking issues and trying to blame the extra weight instead.
I'm in the same boat, honestly... I'm sitting at 220 lbs right now and I'm about 5'10".

If you swapped out the booze for actual hobbies or something, you'd see results 100% of the time.

I hit the gym every single day, but the real struggle is that I just end up eating way more after.🙄
Not to be rude or anything, but maybe you should try hitting up an AA meeting. Might actually solve the problem there.
