True conversation requires both speaking and listening. Unfortunately, in our current reality, people spend 90% of their time talking and only 10% listening. For a real dialogue to happen, you need a fifty-fifty split, but even that isn't enough if rational listening and an empathetic understanding of the words being spoken fail to actually reach the listener. In such cases, even a "conversation" remains nothing more than two people talking at each other. But what can we truly expect when we live in a culture where there is such a deep-seated, historical obsession with dictating, dictating, and dictating...

When I mess up, I’ve never had any issue with offering a public apology. After all, who doesn't slip up now and then? And the more someone errs, the more they tend to refine their craft.
