Dealing with Keratosis pilaris (KP)? in Health ·
Greetings, forum members.

I have initiated discussions on this topic numerous times before, though I remain hopeful that this iteration might yield substantive responses. I have struggled with Keratosis pilaris for as long as I can remember. It has manifested on my forearms, upper arms, cheeks, neck—specifically just beneath the jawline—buttocks, outer thighs, and calves. Most recently, the condition has begun to spread toward my inner thighs and slightly onto my back, which is concerning. I have attempted various remedies without success; perhaps my lack of consistency was the issue. Every time I apply moisturizer, I feel a sense of defeat because my skin reddens so intensely it appears to be reacting negatively to the product itself. This happens regardless of the cream used, though I admit I have yet to utilize any single product long enough to observe actual results. I recently purchased Aquaphor, an intensive body lotion, and have been applying it regularly. I have noticed a slight improvement on my right forearm where small patches of skin appear clearer, devoid of redness or bumps. Conversely, the skin on my left forearm seems to have deteriorated. I prefer to believe my diet is not the culprit, as I maintain a clean regimen centered primarily on fruits and vegetables. Long Story Short, I am at a loss. I intend to persist with this current lotion and will likely incorporate an exfoliant into my routine. If you have any advice based on personal experience, or if there is a specific product that has been transformative for you, please share it.
