Just some tiny little concession that satisfies Putko within the new global division of East and West.
In my view—and I really mean this—he'll keep fighting until at least that much is achieved.

In two years, once he has recovered from this current beating, he will undoubtedly resume this exact brand of nonsense.

I truly hope the Ukrainians make him pay for this with his life. Literally.

That covers everything regarding the concept of neutrality and those other vague, nonsensical ideas they were tossing around. 🤣

We ought to give them a firm reprimand and send them straight back to the Russian Federation.

I honestly haven't the slightest clue. I am merely passing along what I've heard. 🤷

A guest on Podcast Velebit was Zoran Grgić, a security and intelligence analyst who previously served three terms on the Intelligence Oversight Board.

This is precisely why I tuned in. If a man of his standing is simply talking nonsense, then it is hardly surprising that our national defense remains in such a state.

P.S. Feen, now here is another individual claiming that tanks are becoming relics of the past. 😬

Either I completely missed it, or perhaps nobody else has brought up the possibility that the drone was actually hacked? It’s entirely plausible that the Ukrainians programmed its flight path, only for the Russians to intercept the signal and override the software. A guest on Podcast Velebit mentioned that this kind of electronic hijacking is actually quite feasible.

If anyone finds themselves with some extra time on their hands, feel free to take a look. ☕

Kesić really gave them a masterclass in how to handle that situation. 🤣

When Orange man actually turns out to be smarter than all those snobby politicians 😁

The reaction from this idiot is actually a masterful illustration of the sheer condescension they use when looking down upon anyone who dares to disagree.

It is staggering how far we have spiraled into chaos. 🤣

The pampered bourgeoisie has become completely detached from reality.

Even most of the actors are the same ones too 🙏

I haven't watched it. To be honest, I can't even remember the last time I sat down for an American series. I wouldn't even be looking into this if my wife hadn't expressed interest.😁

I get the impression that we are churning out these series faster than ever before. Usually, those casual reviews you hear floating around in conversation tend to be fairly accurate.

Carl Hernandez3 said:The investigation side of things—specifically the lead investigator—felt a bit thin to me.
They immediately jump to accusing the witness who actually reported the girl.
In my opinion—and I mean this sincerely—that's just not how you handle an inquiry.
It’s quite strange to see Matanić miss the mark like that.

I was actually just reflecting on how the police handle individuals who come forward with information. It strikes me that their approach often feels excessively heavy-handed.

  • Denmark decided to hike their military budget and they're holding a referendum about returning to the Common Security and Defence Policy from the EU.
  • Canada allowed NATO forces to deploy on its territory.

Germany is still getting 40% of its gas needs from Russia. They just agreed to start building an LNG terminal, but that’s going to take forever to actually get running. If Germany cut off Russian gas right now, they'd be without power in three weeks. It's not like Putin doesn't have a few tricks up his sleeve. The mistake happened way earlier—nobody really believed Putin would actually invade, and everyone thought there was plenty of time for an energy transition. Take Germany, for example; they produce more than enough wind power, to the point where they actually have to shut it down sometimes so they don't fry the power lines. And that's exactly the problem with the infrastructure—they can't even move all that power from the north down to the industrial south without blowing out a grid that isn't built for that kind of load. Sure, they should fix it, but everyone figured they had time.

For Ukraine, the key is just holding out as long as possible so the sanctions can eventually hit harder.

That’s what happens when you deal with a state-owned enterprise. ☕

I have watched it. To be quite honest, I found myself pleasantly surprised. 🙂

ironranger67 said:It looks like Putin bit the bait like a naive little kid—and honestly, you have to hand it to the Americans, they’re practically rubbing their hands together in anticipation. He’s essentially setting himself up for his own downfall at this point.
He’ll probably just let him exhaust himself fighting in Ukraine—besides, Biden already gave him his word last year that the US wouldn't get involved.

It feels like Putin is acting like a former intelligence officer who lacks any actual combat experience—he’s being reckless, and honestly, it looks amateurish. He’s essentially taken everything he spent twenty years building and handed it over to the Russian military, only to watch them fail to achieve any of his objectives in the timeframe he expected.
Kyiv is in for a hell of a ride.

I certainly agree that they have played him for a fool, though my concern is that this particular fool lacks the intellect required to pivot out of this mess. I suspect that, faced with such impotence, he will only grow increasingly brutal, which might ultimately drag NATO into the fray.

Naturally, I hope my assessment is wrong, but even here in the States, the media rhetoric is becoming increasingly intense. It feels as though we are being conditioned for the worst-case scenario. 🤷

Paul Sanders5 said:No way in hell. Sure, they'll keep shipping in more weapons, but there is zero chance a single soldier from a NATO country is gonna end up in a position where they're trading shots with Russians, or vice versa.

Just sit back and watch. 😉

Only a few months ago, the sentiment shared in this forum was that we were living in an era of unprecedented peace, suggesting there was absolutely no possibility of war breaking out in Europe—even though even a complete novice could clearly see the storm clouds gathering on the horizon.

Now, we find ourselves facing the reality of the situation, and there is simply no way this chaos is going to end anytime soon.

There is no longer any room for debate regarding whether a conflict between Russia and NATO will occur; the only lingering question is whether someone will be desperate or irrational enough to reach for nuclear weapons.
Offside (General Discussion) in Soccer ·
I believe it has become painfully obvious, even to the most oblivious observer, that we are merely counting down the days, if not the hours, until NATO decides to intervene directly in the conflict in Ukraine. It seems like an inevitability at this stage.

The rhetoric is steadily intensifying, and I suspect we will soon witness a decisive NATO incursion into Ukrainian territory, and perhaps even onto Russian soil.

Regarding the situation in Mexico, they are claiming that there were upwards of 10,000 people involved.🤷

According to reports from Index:

A live stream coming directly from the streets of Kyiv suggests that the night remains calm. Of course, one must acknowledge that cameras possess inherent limitations and cannot capture every single corner, yet surely some sign of activity would have surfaced by now. Aside from the occasional vehicle passing through the frame, there is nothing else to report.

Does this mean I’m just stuck being ignored until the suspension expires? It feels quite absurd to be sidelined for an entire month without a single shred of explanation as to why my account was flagged in the first place. I find myself wondering who exactly is overseeing the moderation here. I haven't received any notification in my inbox, and even looking through my message history, there isn't a trace of any official correspondence regarding this matter.

I should probably point out that I contributed roughly five separate posts to that PDF over the course of just a few days. I am genuinely at a loss as to how the moderator could interpret my activity as systematic trolling or malicious deception; in today’s discussion, I submitted exactly one single post, yet somehow walked away with a month-long ban. 🤣

Republican Party - General Discussion in Political Scene ·
If we find ourselves facing snap elections, I fully expect us to see record-breaking voter turnout, and we all know exactly who would be most inconvenienced by that surge. In such a scenario, I am convinced that the Democratic Party, MOST, SSIP, and even the Green Coalition would secure a significantly higher number of seats than they currently hold.

I simply don't see any way for Plenković to cobble together more than seven or eight votes, which—given the current political climate—won't bring him anywhere near a working majority. It seems to me he is quietly preparing his exit strategy, eyeing a move toward a position in Brussels.
