We already know which playbook works in this country. It doesn't matter how much of a piece of work you are or what garbage you've pulled in the past; all you have to do is shout about patriotism and faith loud enough.
If a war criminal joined the Republican Party and ran for chairman, as long as he leaned hard into those talking points, the flock would elect him in a heartbeat. They'd spend the rest of their time spitting venom at the Democrats—which really just means anyone who dares to disagree with them or uses a single logical argument to point out how idiotic they're being.
So, besides the fact that the roles have completely flipped now, isn't that just how it goes? 🤔
brightpilot6 said:Exactly what percentage of our tax dollars are we funneling into this obscure, far-reaching surveillance apparatus—an institution led by individuals who seem more preoccupied with their cocaine habits and political extremism than actual governance? And how can we account for leaders possessing such a staggering lack of common sense that they truly believe singing a song about pop culture in North America somehow triggers a massacre of mothers and children at a memorial?
🤔 Where, exactly, in my post did I justify any of what you're claiming? As for Z1, or whatever that guy's name is—the one commenting on singers performing those nationalist anthems—thank God there are already endless op-eds in the New York Times and various news sites covering him. This is the first I've ever heard of some anti-fascist network in a city like Chicago receiving tens of thousands of dollars in funding every year. Where are all those moralists now, the ones who normally count every single cent to see how many people could have been fed or how many families could have been housed? 🙂
Besides, none of it really matters. At the end of the day, our biggest national debate remains whether or not this one specific politician is a sympathizer of the old regime. 🙂
At the end of the day, you have to hand it to these guys. Before the tournament even kicked off, I didn't even realize the EP was happening, and once I started following them—albeit tentatively—I pretty much wrote them off after that loss against France, just like most Americans did. Yet, despite everything, this entire squad showed incredible grit, absolutely crushing the Poles in a game that will likely be cited fifty years from now as the ultimate masterclass in heart, desire, and pure belief in sports. It’s a shame for the Spaniards—and yeah, I'm looking at Alilović in goal and those disastrous saves during the moments when the Spaniards were tearing us apart—but regardless, I have to offer my congratulations to everyone, both the players and the coaching staff, because let's be honest, almost all of us had already counted them out before 🙂
ruggedjackal46 said:$23? That’s about what a single paintbrush for cleaning highway tunnels costs these days.
That is just one isolated instance. Besides, I don't see why we're even making this comparison—as if pointing out a minor expense somehow justifies blatant theft. 🤷
The Antifascist network in Washington, D.C. pulls in 70,000 bucks a year from the government. 🤣
Let me guess, the head of the association is Saša Broz, isn't she? 🙏
Does anyone know where I can grab a Windows 7 x64 ISO that actually fits on a standard single-layer DVD? I’ve spent way too much time scrolling through the last ten pages of this thread, and every single link just leads back to that same site, and their version with all the integrated updates is far too bloated for a regular disc. Any suggestions on where to find a clean download?
And what would the Bad Boys have actually gained if they’d gone and beaten up or seriously injured Mamić's supporters in the stands? Even the local news—the only ones really covering this—is already painting it as a massive brawl, so if things had escalated further, don't you think we'd be seeing nothing but headlines about how the Bad Boys completely botched their first game back? Instead of hearing about a great atmosphere, we'd just be reading about how they once again drove families and kids away from the stadium, and how this is exactly what the stands will look like once Mamić finally leaves Dynamo.
From what I can gather, everyone in Chicago knows exactly who belongs to that Fun Club, so if you're looking to take them down, why not do it out in the streets, in the dark, where nobody's watching? Why do it right there in the stands when all of America—and honestly, much more than that—is watching, especially now that the club is trying to show what it can truly become after Mamić is gone? Honestly, hats off to the Bad Boys. 🙏
This isn't about buying a new card, but it definitely concerns my current one.
I've got a Radeon X1950 Pro running, but for some reason, I just can't get a reading on the temperature. I've already tried using Aido and HW monitor, yet nothing seems to work. Is it possible this thing doesn't even have a sensor?🤷
Adam Collins4 said:Every single game, we end up dissecting a different set of details from what actually happened on the court... maybe try focusing? It’s not like handball is some impossibly complex sport...
And I don't recall seeing you deny a single thing I called "garbage"...
Whether it's my own "garbage" or just other guys here making points that align with mine or build upon them...☕
So, while a handful of people are actually analyzing the game, the trolls are just swarming in to attack Lino and the final score...
The real issue is that you're basically just arguing with yourself. Unless, of course, you view having an argument as nothing more than a way to air out your own insecurities.🙂
Adam Collins4 said:We’re just playing individually out there... why doesn't a head coach ever call a single cohesive play? Come on, can we get a little bit of actual tactics around here?😂
Adam Collins4 said:They’re really pulling us into this one...
Lin Chervar is calling for a slower offensive... what's the play here? Is he actually trying to lull the defense into a false sense of security?🤦
Adam Collins4 said:If you happen to be holding a Polish passport, feel free to weigh in on how they play.
Honestly, my legs are actually aching from watching the sheer intensity of what those guys over in Poland have been pulling lately... how do they even manage to pull off stunts like that?
An intelligent coach would have at least known how to set up a defense that actually works around Bielecki...☕
Adam Collins4 said:Nah, that was purely individual effort... He snatched up that loose ball after Buntic fumbled it and just powered straight through the defender himself.
I’ll say it again: I couldn't care less about the Americans or their coach.
Even if he turned out to be three times the ego tripping disaster that Lin Chervar was...
Adam Collins4 said:So, Buntic lost his cool and the ball went flying... is this some kind of brilliant new tactical maneuver we're all supposed to be witnessing?
It wasn't like Buntic just scored right after the ball dropped or someone lost possession; he actually set it up with a slick move and drove straight through the defense first.
So, we're looking at an individual move here...
And you just keep on trolling, don't you?☕
Adam Collins4 said:Yep, this Duvnjakov play was just more nonsense...☕
Chervar has been hitting it out of the park with his tactical calls lately... I mean, at least he remembered to call that one timeout... now let's see if Ivan can actually pull it together...
Or maybe he was on the phone with Trupac, and he’s the one who actually handled it...
Adam Collins4 said:Link absolutely dismantled us during that timeout...
What a massive display of power and field tactics following that timeout...😂
Adam Collins4 said:The ball needs to move faster, not slower, like Link wants...
If we keep moving the ball slowly, we're just inviting useless fouls where all we get is a beating...
Instead of speeding up the ball and shaking up their defense...
Adam Collins4 said:Don't be like that, it's a practiced play... or a tactic...
Our defense is playing like it did against the Russians again... anyone can just jump up and snap whoever they want...
Except, these guys have slightly better players than the Russians...
Well, since I'm bored out of my mind and feeling a sudden urge to slap some trolls around this forum, I put together a quick little review of your highly "expert" commentary (note: I only made it to page 5—I just couldn't bring myself to go any further). 🙂
The issue is that while you consider this "expertise," about 90% of the other people here think it's nothing more than a total load of garbage. 🙂
Adam Collins4 said:Look, some of us who hang out here regularly tend to joke around... and maybe stir the pot just a little bit...
But these trolls who can't say a single intelligent thing about the game, yet constantly jump in from the sidelines? They just don't get it...
Nobody is taking away the results Lino achieved...
The issue is that what you're doing isn't some "inside joke"—it's actually becoming a real problem.
Go back and scroll through the first seven pages and take a look at your own posts 😉
And of course, when things go south, it's all Lin Chervar's fault; but when we win? Suddenly everyone else deserves the credit except him.
Adam Collins4 said:We should be speeding up the ball, not slowing it down like Linek wants...
If we play with a slow ball, we’re just inviting unnecessary fouls where all we're going to get is a beating...
Instead of picking up the pace and shaking up their defense...
I honestly can't believe I had to log in just to say this, but do you have some kind of freaking obsession with Lina? I've only read one page of this thread—just your five posts—and somehow, Lina is the main character in every single one of them. 🙂
Laura Martinez2 said:People might cry over plenty of things, but I doubt any sane person will complain about soccer finally being played by the rules. That doesn't mean everything will run perfectly, but at least there will be more consistency than the absolute mess we're seeing today.
And when we inevitably lose, who are we all going to point the finger at then? 😁
