Fainted during a blood draw

So, this one time I was out volunteering to donate blood 🙄
The nurse gave me the whole "are you sure?" speech because I’m still pretty young and my weight was right on the edge of their limit, but I was being stubborn and insisted I was fine 😁...
Once they finished drawing my blood, they told me to sit tight for a bit and grab a snack, but I was in such a rush to catch the subway... and after just a few steps outside the hospital, everything just went black and I collapsed right there on the sidewalk 😁😲...
Luckily, I didn't actually pass out completely—I was aware of everything happening around me (except I couldn't move a single muscle... felt totally paralyzed, and my vision just went dark... honestly, a terrifying feeling)
Lesson learned for next time... I am absolutely not leaving the clinic for at least 15 minutes after the needle comes out, and I'm definitely packing at least three candy bars in my bag just to be safe 😁
