Lisa Ross65 said:My Bloody Valentine 3D just hit the shelves here on DVD. They even throw in the glasses with it.

True, but that’s just the old version using those red-and-blue filters on the glasses. I suppose it's fine for now, but honestly, watching a movie like that at home is quite exhausting. At least, it is for me.. 🤷

I saw this a few years back and it was quite an experience. Truly quite clever. As Shrek and the gang ride along in the carriage, the seats shake right along with them. Donkey lets out a sneeze on screen, and suddenly you get sprayed with water from the seat directly in front of you. It’s rather startling, actually. 👍

This survey is excellent. Please keep them coming; you have my full support for more of these 👍

In my estimation, > remains the absolute pinnacle of parody. I often find myself thinking about that specific scene where they are tasked with terraforming the desert, and they simply pull out these massive sledgehammers and start swinging them through the sand... it's absurd. Or even that closing moment when freedom starts pouring out of their noses and those creatures just mutter, "oh, shit... there goes the planet..." Truly priceless. 🙏🙏 🙏

Coming in at number three on this weekend's box office leaderboard is that charming European co-production, "Elf / The Search for Santa." It’s actually seeing some decent momentum; viewership and revenue climbed by 18.42% compared to the first weekend. This animated feature has been quite the hit across Europe, and honestly, the American dubbing is remarkably well done. The story follows Elf, a little reindeer who spends his time dreaming about learning how to fly, all in the hopes of finally meeting his real father one day.

And honestly... it’s proving to be quite difficult to actually get into the holiday spirit when the weather outside is this gorgeous. 🤷
I suppose we'll see how things change once the snow finally starts falling. 😁

To be clear, we are talking about an American animated feature that holds its own against any Disney or DreamWorks production. Its high quality is reflected in the box office numbers across various countries like France, Germany, Italy, and Finland. It was even recently honored by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences with an award for Best Animated Feature Oscar

So, what is the story about?
Nick is a little sob who dreams of learning how to fly and eventually meeting his biological father. His dad is actually a member of Santa Claus's legendary flying power. However, the harsh reality is that he has never met his father, and frankly, nobody believes his stories about having such a famous dad. To make matters worse, everyone mocks his attempts at flight because he just keeps crashing—even though, if you ask me, he’s actually doing quite well.

Nick feels he has something to prove. After a moment of recklessness leads a pack of wolves to attack his peaceful home in the valley of sob, Nick is consumed by guilt for endangering his community. Desperate and heartbroken, he sets off on a brave quest toward the cold one where Santa Claus resides, hoping to finally find his father. His journey turns into a perilous adventure through wild, uncharted territories, lonely forests, and freezing blizzards. Along the way, he discovers that the wolf pack leader, Mrle, intends to destroy Santa Claus's flying power and take their place for himself...

The American voice cast includes talents like Olga Pakalovic, Hana Hegedusic, Franjo kuhar, Jacques Houdek, and others...

It is worth noting that there is a dedicated American website for the film— nick.mgfilm.us

Thank God for the thunderstorms last night, otherwise I wouldn't have watched it.🙂 I am downloading it online right now—does anyone happen to have the subtitles? Please! I spent all day retelling the story to everyone. I was completely swept away.-.-'

You can pick up the movie at Walmart for $6.75. It’s cheaper than a pack of cigarettes, and it'll last you much longer... assuming you don't try to smoke the DVD somewhere.😁
