It really just depends on the person. It’s been about two months for me and I’m still not quite back to 100%, but things are definitely looking up. Usually, they say you're looking at maybe six months before you're fully recovered
I mean, for routine checkups, it was pretty vague. I always figured once a year was way too infrequent—I was under the impression it happened every six months or so.

So, about two months back, I ended up with an injury that required having one kidney removed. Now I’m wondering—how long can you actually live with just one? Does the remaining kidney take on too much work or wear out faster? My doctor told me I just need to come in for checkups once a year, and since everything else looks solid and I'm only 29, I figured I'd ask if anyone here knows anything about this.
