What on earth are they supposed to broadcast today? There’s absolutely nothing going on... I suppose they can't just pull a miracle out of a hat and invent some live action out of thin air, either... since 10:00, it's just been non-stop hockey coverage every single day.

I really have to believe things will look up once we hit the fall, assuming they finally sit down with the leagues to hammer out the game schedules and, by extension, actually figure out a decent broadcasting plan.

I wouldn't mind if the whole sports lineup vanished from NBC and we were forced to pay for the MLS too...

Good grief, this channel is dedicated to ESPN, not the NBA, the NHL, or some unnamed nonsense.

The lineup for this program includes broadcasts of: American basketball, volleyball, water polo, weightlifting, rowing, rugby, darts, show jumping, youth leagues, high school sports, swimming, and pretty much anything else that falls under the umbrella of American sports.

Can we please just get everyone to understand and take those requests for the NHL, the NBA, Fox Sports, broadcasting rights, and all that other unnamed garbage elsewhere, away from this specific thread?

It's like I can't even explain it... I see the exact same argument playing out across a hundred different threads on this forum... I honestly don't get what part of this isn't clicking for them..

DirecTV has it, but Comcast doesn't.

I just checked my own setup to be absolutely sure. If you're watching on DirecTV, it should be sitting right there on channel 12.

It’ll get covered eventually, I’m sure. Honestly, though, isn't it obvious that more people are obsessed with watching the national soccer team than they are with the NHL—which, let's be honest, you can already catch over at Madison Square Garden anyway?

Besides, HOO wrapped up this year with a $7 million profit... and it's not like they're hurting for cash or anything.

International sports just don't have a place in this lineup... there are plenty of other channels out there specifically for that kind of thing.
